CBS has already advised the campaigns ( BTW..since when does the press give a heads-up about the questions to be asked of Republican candidates?) that there will be a focus on the Paris attacks.
If the CBS moderators have ANY cojones, let alone any semblance of journalistic integrity; here are the first three questions that should be asked tonight:
1. Do you agree with Obama's statement that ISIS is "contained?"
2. Do you support Obama's plan to bring tens of thousands of supposedly Syrian refugees to the US?
3. Do you still support Obama's plan to close Gitmo and move the prisoners to the US, and also then give them the protections of our legal system?
Given the increased scrutiny on the MSM after the CNBC debate fiasco, it's going to be hard for the moderators NOT to push the Democrats hard.
Huh ! I was going to finish watching “The Wire”.
Thanks for the reminder.
.
4. Hillary Clinton - In light of the economic collapse of Puerto Rico and the terror attacks in Paris, do you regret supporting the pardon of FALN terrorists?
Yeah, this nmight be fun.
Do you agree with the BlackLiesMatter people who say free speech is hate speech by definition? Are you ready to declare here tonight that you will protect and defend the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America?
“Secretary Clinton, do you believe global warming is a greater threat to humanity then Islamic terrorism?”
“Are you still stupid enough to advocate disarming law abiding Americans so that they, too, can be slaughtered by muslim terrorists?”
I wonder if Trump is going to live-tweet this debate like he did last time. That was hilarious and I think he picked up something like 200,000 new Twitter followers in a matter of a few hours.
“Violent extremism” - Drink!
There are liberal moderators for Republican debates. However, there are no conservative moderators for Democrat debates. Funny how that worked out.
Secretary Clinton, Senator Sanders, Would either of you like another drink? Mr. O’Mally, just who are you anyway and why are you Here?
Mrs. Clinton, Do you think your Fascist ideas would help bring peace and tranquility if you were President......of Syria.....?
Great list!
How about adding:
Secretary Clinton, in light of the savage Islamic terrorist attacks in Paris yesterday and the apparent connection of these attacks to ISIS infiltrating Syrian refugees, do you still stand by your recent call to increase the number of Syrian refugees entering the US to 65,000?
1. Do you support Obama’s policy of arming and financing “moderate” terrorists?
2. Do you support Obama’s policy of letting thousands of “Syrian refugees” into this country?
3. Do you support “open borders” and not enforcing our immigration laws?
4. Do you support giving $150 billion to a terrorist regime headquartered in Tehran and allowing it to build nuclear weapons?
A legitimate question, however, it's more likely they'll ask the following:
"A number of prominent Republicans have called for an immediate halt to plans to bring tens of thousands of Syrian refugees into the country. What is your response to such bigoted, mean spirited, Islamophobic rhetoric?"
Dangit.
Doctor Who is on BBC America about that time. Then, The Last Kingdom.
The Doctor or Hillary. Decisions decisions.
If I want to watch someone old and wrinkled, The Doctor wins — and I don’t think his hair is a wig.
Q: “What is your name?”
Q: “What is your quest?”
Q: “Who will be your first Empress?”
“Why are you all a bunch of dumb shits?”
I guess they’ll be saving that for the Republicans.
Are you wearing body armor?
Why?
4) do you agree with Obama that ‘mass murders’ do not take place in advanced countries?
But none of these questions will be asked, and besides, a poll which is never been wrong in 100 years has predicted Bernie will be ?our? your next President.
I am willing to bet that most of the questions will be more along the lines of “Which of you is the most handsome and wise?”
The bottom line is that the media does not want to do anything to help Trump or Cruz get elected.
