Last night delivered another crushing defeat to the RNCâs plans to take out Donald Trump.
Their Trump Killer du jour, Ben Carson flopped. Inflated push polls can get the RNC only so far in repairing the damage Carsonâs uninspiring performance did last night.
Although he did not shine as brightly as expected, Trump did well enough to flip pressure back on the RNC. Now, as we get closer to Iowa Caucuses, they must decide who their new âTrump Killerâ is.
Last night some unexpected contenders made great strides toward the top of the Republican field ; and not unexpectedly the opinion of the experts is at odds with the average voterâs view of who won.
â¦not necessary to read the expert's opinion; we know who they donât support..
â¦.who they think did do well that throws the RNCâs plans up in the air.
In view of some very credible â but ignored - polls to the contrary; how long can Fox News and their collaborators at the RNC continue to try to sell the idea that Carson is neck and neck with Trump?
Yesterdayâs Morning Consult survey showed Trump gaining three points and Carson losing two points â¦.. fifteen points .. no one else close.
Whether the damage Carson sustained last week was justified or not he now needs much too much shoring up to continue as the RNCâs Trump killer du jour.
Enter last nightâs debate.
⦠Paul did (much better) than expected and even Marco Rubio held on.
.., [RNC problem] â¦.Carson faded and Ted Cruz as usual surpassed expectations.
But whom do they back now? Rubioâ¦.. scarlet âAâ for amnesty.. RNC hates Cruz. Rand Paul has no chance â¦. libertarian positions
..the order of those behind [Trump] delivers another crushing defeat to the RNC.

LOL
Anytime the RNC loses is a good time
..âCruz was a collegiate debate champion.â
One of the hallmarks of a good collegiate debater is how they can be assigned any side of the debate and still win. What they really believe is immaterial..
You put your finger on one of the things that bothers me about Cruz. Thank you.
LOL...I agree.....
I swear, at one point towards the end of the debate I heard someone in the audience yell out “GET THE HOOK” twice.
Speaking of the audience, they were enthusiastic were they not?
[ I heard someone in the audience yell out âGET THE HOOKâ twice.]
I’m surprised someone didn’t holler call 911 because of all his jerky motions, frantic arm waving and contorted mouth and tongue, thinking he was stroking out.
I’m not voting for a debater-in-chief. Trump has said he isn’t a debater, but his successes speak for themselves. Let’s not get carried away by who is the best debater. If we choose on that criteria, then we should probably also bump up Christie. This is what lawyers do - they debate in court - it’s a learned behavior. Just because someone gets in zingers, doesn’t make them presidential.
