What's your top blade for every day carry to just having one for the sake of it. Here's a partial list -

It is an HK design manufactured by Benchmade. It is a fine blade and has Benchmade quality. I carry it pretty much everywhere, but it’s not a utility knife.
Kershaw Blackout. About 5 years old and still sharpens nicely.
Nice. Details, please...
Mine is not precisely the one pictured, but mounting looks very similar. It is a nice little traditionally forged plain blade I picked up online for a couple hundred bucks; a handmade Paul Chen - Hanwei blade that I put into a simple rosewood mounting until I have the time to do something better. It was a very nice blade for the price. It actually is concealable, but the lack of a tsuba makes it rather risky for anything other than a cut on draw.
Check your state and local laws if you plan to carry an OTF knife. They are illegal to carry in public in many states, or in certain cities within many states.
Ditto with switchblades, "gravity" knives, and stilettos (two sharpened cutting edges.)
Stupid laws need to be taken off the books, but I'm not the one that's going to sit in jail being morally right...
