‘I’m dumber than Joe Biden’s big toe’
One of the best/funniest lines I’ve ever read in political commentary. More than compensates for your noun-verb disagreement two paragraphs down.
‘Im sorry to have to say it but the Trump supporters are the angry ones, badmouthing any and all but their own.
The Cruz supporters for the most part have been deferential, especially to Trump.’
Good golly Miss bleeding Molly. You need to get out more...to put it mildly.
Yup. You’re exactly right. Enjoy Trump’s success and let Cruz do what he does. He’s not going after Trump and Trump isn’t going after him. They both are making it impossible for !Yeb to gain any traction. If nothing else we owe Trump our thanks for torpedoing !Yeb
Absolute horse hockey. All you have to do is read through the threads on this forum.

You are delusional. Haha
Why do you want him as president?
What do you think he will do to help conservatism?
Questions in comment #27 were for Trump supporters.

Good comeback.....Though I am going to take Mark Twains advice concerning arguing with a fool.
Rudy Giuliani can tell you that New York brash (we prefer to think of it as brass) doesn’t generally sell well west of the Hudson River.
Trump is not going to implode. We praise his command of the media and political savvy which is unlike anything seen since Reagan and you continue with this nonsense that he'll step in his own stuff and slink off leaving Cruz to fill the gap?
I am a Cruz supporter and Trump is just the kind of bulldozer of leftist media garbage that the doctor ordered. Speaking of doctors I see Carson imploding, not Trump or Cruz.
I see Trump picking Cruz for VP, getting himself elected in a landslide (yes with all those Hispanics and Blacks too) and then after doing a wholesale garbage flush from every branch of the Executive Branch, stepping aside even as he did strategically with his own successful TV show, and hand the reigns to Cruz, who will now have an ability to build anew with a substantially slimmed down Federal government.
Remember, Trump doesn't need this job, and will be likely to be happy to vacate it without a hint of scandal, having paved the way for the pol who has been brave enough all along to spit in the eye of The Establishment. Trump hires the right people to get the job done. Trump respects Cruz and vice versa.
Maybe Trump would like to continue the influence be heading up the Council of Economic Advisers. JQ Adams, 6th President went back to the "lowly" House after being President, right? Not such a far-fetched thing to speculate about at all. He's already hired in his capable replacement. Now let's go beat up China and Mexico economically with the full force of the USA, and destroy all those who sold short on the US, never hoping or expecting that America could be Great AGAIN.
Maybe all the Palinistas might get to enjoy her being moved from head of Interior & Energy (now disemboweled by Trump & Sarah) to being appointed by Ted to fill his now vacant VP slot.
What a way to say thank you for helping him so much to get elected to the Senate back in 2010, no?
Yes, I can hear all the farts, burps, and guffaws from the perpetually pathologically depressed around here, but who said such people ever had an original thought about anything, or crawled out of their holes long enough to get behind a strategic plan they clearly never had any capability of envisioning?
FReegards!
Which alternate FR site do you typically go to? I’ve NEVER seen as much pure vitriol as I see, daily, from a hand full of Cruzettes (name they now have, that mirrors what they call Trump supporters), than I’ve seen, anywhere.
It’s to the point that it’s become sad. There’s nothing they can do about his low numbers, so they attack Trump supporters (names like progressives, Dem lite, etc.). Makes one wonder if they’re truly supporting Cruz, or just paid distractions.
You forgot to post these.....

Ted Cruz’s Path From George W. Bush Adviser to Immigration ...
....Cruz helped craft the campaign’s immigration policy, which called for speeding up the application process, increasing the number of work visas, and allowing the relatives of permanent residents to visit the U.S. while their applicants were pending. “Family values don’t stop at the Rio Grande,” Bush used to say....

Thank You!! RR Tis such a shame our country is so divided that FRiends tend to see cross eyed on this issue. Mr. T is the best thing to happen to the pubbie party in years. Seize the moment, hold on tightly, and run with it. He’s put himself in our hands. I suggest we use the tool wisely and pronto. Perhaps, with time the milquetoast pubbies might learn a few lessons from him and what it takes to win the game.....not that politics is a game -IT IS a matter of LIFE Thank you, once again, Mr. T. Keep on truckin’

I want my country back.
This country was founded by radicals, not conservatives. They wanted freedom, small, limited government. Capitalism, isolationists, individualism.
Conservative has come to mean here “support Ted Cruz”. It used to mean supporting traditional values, norms, moderation, caution. All well and good but I believe at this point in our country’s history we need radicals.
I don’t know that I would call Ted Cruz a conservative, more of a constitutionist I think. Just my opinion.
