Dang George, nothing to say about Hillary, Obama, valjar etc?
yeah now let’s hear from all the Cruz lovers hating on Trump slamming the Bush’s .. Trump sounds like Michael Moore, Trump just helped out Hillary,, blah blah... and I like Cruz a lot!
The funny thing is that when Trump is ready for the next step he is going to thoroughly bash Cruz. Probably call him a Nazi or something. Classic Trump.
I don’t see an actual quote but it says a donor “no name” PARAPHRASED his words...Everywhere you see lies, distortions and misconstrued article headings. We have got to not fall into the democrat trappings - Bush has been careful in all his public appearances to not appear political in his statements (something I wish he were less so when it comes to his successor) but that enforces the whole thing that I don’t think he came right out and said something that strong against TED Cruz.
It all comes down to choosing your enemies carefully.
Not that this was a wise choice.
Now we know which enemy Dubya has chosen. Arrange your priorities accordingly.
Tippie-Toe’s bro would lick the a$$ of any Saudi King
before helping a real conservative
or criticizing a
Marxist/Communists/Islamicterroristophile liar.
There are a couple of direct quotes in the Politico article, if this is, in fact, a fabrication I suspect that will reveal itself somehow.
Trump is impetuous, but he is not stupid; he knows that bashing Cruz is the one thing that would bring the wrath of the base upon him.
I actually think Trump will choose Cruz as VP. A leader always choses the best for his team.
I almost wonder if this was W’s intent, with the remarks being so out of character for him.
This man is smart, he has done his life's business, which is multi-billions of dollars, but along the way, he has gathered mega information....Bushes, Romneys, Clintons, Obumas, and many more....
Why do you think he said his words the way he did? So the person would take himself out....and Bush did, so did Walker, so did Perry and so will anyone else that goes after Trump....
Cruz or Carson haven't, as yet, attacked Trump, but be prepared if he does, it will take their knees right out from under them, we have seen it.....
Reason number 4: ‘cause he is stupid.
The Bush’s never attack those in their own party...the liberal party.
Obama won two terms running against this Bush.
The next Dem nominee will continue running against this Bush.
No more Bushes. W killed the brand.
You make a good point.
Opinions change over time. This must be ‘the time’ There will be no defending GW, no excuses. To degrade a man like Cruz only shows the nature of GW’s inner core. It is unlike any that we expected. For shame GWB, for shame. Does helping your flaccid, limping brother to election mean that much to you. Is the honey so sweet, so rich in DC that your clan find themselves unable to do without? GW, once thought of as a man with faults, but a good man; he is now no better than the other criminals who remain in office. Just an empty shell.
From Wikipedia: "Cruz also successfully defended, in Medellin v. Texas, the State of Texas against an attempt to re-open the cases of 51 Mexican nationals, all of whom were convicted of murder in the United States and were on death row.[8][11][49][60] With the support of the George W. Bush Administration, the petitioners argued that the United States had violated the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations by failing to notify the convicted nationals of their opportunity to receive legal aid from the Mexican consulate.[56][67] They based their case on a decision of the International Court of Justice in the Avena case which ruled that by failing to allow access to the Mexican consulate, the US had breached its obligations under the Convention.[68] Texas won the case in a 63 decision, the Supreme Court holding that ICJ decisions were not binding in domestic law and that the President had no power to enforce them.[56][67]"
“Opportunistic” is the leftwing media’s narrative about Cruz. Its disappointing GWB would adapt it.
