The most interesting thing about Henry Kissinger’s analysis and rescue plan for American foreign policy, A Path Out of the Middle East Collapse, is the how little hope and optimism it excited. Few appear to regard the article’s recommendations as feasible, and it has been received with the passivity air of a beaten boxer hoping only for a rematch.
This fatalism is especially depressing in the light of Kissinger’s diagnosis that Obama has basically unwound every foreign policy achievement of the last 40 years. His considered belief that an outside chance of survival of the American position is still possible have struck not a spark. The atmosphere is as funereal as the locker room of a team down 40 points at halftime after the failed pep talk of a former winning coach that has only served to remind the players of what an invidious contrast there is to their present one.

Now back on my take, "people in the future" should look into Obama admin bribing our enemies, esp. the ME/NA region. When everything collapses and we reap the consequences, some idijts will come along and claim "Republicans' fault, because it happened under their watch".
Don't worry, it will get worse before it gets better Obama has more than a year to really mess things up. If that can be possible.
Early in 2009, Rush Limbaugh famously said, “I hope he (Obama) fails.”
That did not require a great amount of prescience, but in failing, the Current Occupant has dragged a lot of the rest of the world down with that failure.
Things are much worse now than anyone imagined it would be on January 19, 2009. And it ain’t gonna get much better for a while, buttercup.
I think he meant failed in bringing about his transformation of the USA. Obama succeeded in his goals, and that is the problem.
But, in the eyes of Obama/Leftists, Obama HASN’T FAILED. Everything that has occurred during Obama’s tenure is what they (Obama/Leftists) wanted. Our world is on fire......and they (Obama/Leftists) are Nero.
Obama didn’t “fail”, unfortunately. He is achieving exactly what he said he wanted to do.
Yes Soetoro has 15 more months to wreak havoc and he will do his best to destroy us before they finally kick him out. Bringing in 200,000 Godless Muslims from who knows where is the most frightening of all. Not a peep about stopping it from Congress. Not a peep about stopping it from any of the 16 GOP presidential candidates except Donald J. Trump. He’s going to send every last one of them back. So now you know where to cast your vote.

You missed Rush's point. Obama has not failed. Undoing America's status in the world was one of obama's goals and he's enjoyed spectacular success.
The Current Occupant DID fail, in any measure as a human being. He may have “succeeded” in projecting his flawed version upon America, but it was with a great deal of assistance by willing useful idiots, and his own incompetence in recognizing that the policies he introduced were, in fact, a prescription for chaos and apathy for much of the rest of the world.
Epic Fail is still the judgment of history.
