Obama may not be willing to stand up for Christians, but God is. I don't always know how He's going to do it, but I'll take His protection over that of Vladimir Putin any day - and you should too.
A friend of mine responded to the headline as follows: “Hitler said the same thing in 1933.”
Lest you get concepts confused, I don’t think Putin is talking about riding in shirtless on a horse to defend the rights of Christian bakeries and florists, nor to save the would-be victims of Christian-hating gunmen. But the threat he references is not insiginificant, existing mainly of course in the Middle East and coming from radical Islamist sources. The Christian Post reports that many Christians in Syria are pleased to see Putin intervening on Bashar Assad’s behalf because they figure their lot is better with Assad then it would likely be with whoever might replace him. The subsequent presentation of Putin as a big supporter of Christians in general is a bit rich to say the least:
“All money belongs to the government first?”
When some organizations are more equal than others and have topay 0% in taxes on their income (compared to 40% for others), yes, it is gubmint sponsored tyranny.
Why should your organization be tax exempt while mine isn’t? Take money from the one and to another. Classic socialism.
Obama surrounds himself with marxists, muslims, and homosexuals both in his inner circle and his overall administration. Look to his close friendships, same thing.
Look hard, you won’t find any Christians. So, do the math.
Not so rich if you knew more about the Chechens.
Putin didn’t go into Syria to save the Christians, but it will be the side effect.
We certainly haven’t lifted a finger to help them. We won’t even classify them as “refugees”.
Remember back to the Cambodian “Killing Fields” genocide where half the country was slaughtered. Who brought it to an end? The UN? NATO? It was the communist Vietnamese Army that brought it to an end. God uses who he uses.
I don’t know how much you know about this but it also guarantees blessings for all the equipment and soldiers heading out to destroy ISIS.
Now, if he sends in the Chechens to do the fighting, all the praise we’re heaping on Putin for “saving” the Christians may have to be revised and withdrawn. They might be Russia’s ISIS.

As I said, 1) it is basically irrelevant to how we should approach what he has and is doing 2) there’s a lot of screwed up Christians running around. One of the basic reasons people become Christians is because they’re screwed up and need help. 3) God requires NOTHING to become born again except to receive His Son and God works from the inside out 4) people love to judge others but God judges the heart and those have have accepted His Son are His.
There will be a lot is surprised people in Heave because God’s grace is greatest than any of us can imagine.

The Constitution prohibits the establishment of any specific Christian faith as the state religion.
It’s obvious to any thinking person Muslims intend to destroy the Christian West by any means necessary.
The choice is between Christianity and Islam. The secular west has no defense - as we see now in Germany allowing an invasion voluntarily.
They are pretty scary. I just made the remark because the president of Chechnya offered to send troops to fight ISIS. They might be pretty scary too...
Chechens are the original beheaders and most evil scum on the planet. They taught the rest of radical Islam how to be evil and scary.
