update-1Full Poll Data and Pdf below North Carolina has recently been a focal point due to the GOPe (republican establishment) maneuvering the primary date/rules to support Jeb Bush. The GOPe road map is in a state of severe flux due to Donald Trump.
Previous information on the RNC and Rule Changes HERE
PPPs newest North Carolina poll finds that Donald Trump is holding his ground- at least compared to where he was in the state six weeks ago. [
] Trumps 26% is almost identical to his 24% standing from mid-August. His 53/36 favorability rating with GOP voters is actually a little bit better than its 47/40 standing from a month ago.

God almighty when will the GOPe LEARN??!??!? UGH.
SO what is this ‘rules change?’
Lets roll!
The GOPe are contorted pretzels trying to get Yeb! over the finish line.
What and act like democrats?
That crap happens, I'm going Galt...
I had a feeling they would do this against Trump. I hope it fails miserably.
Move over Chicago Seven — time for the Cleveland Seven. You know that you can count me out... in.
They changed the date of the primary which now makes this a winner take all rather than a proportional primary. Since Trump is the poll leader it appears this would benefit him more than Bush. But I don't want to ruin a good conspiracy.
Ever wonder why there is so much voter appathy? Well, this is one of them. Get the parties out of that decision process. Different dates, different rules, etc for every party. Too confusing for the general public.
Rules changing while campaigning is in progress.
It’s like that bratty kid who’s losing at Monopoly and wants to change the rules during the game.
Makes the gopers look like nothing but cheats.

RALEIGH -
North Carolina Republicans have decided against awarding all of the party’s pledged delegates
to the winner of the state’s presidential primary in mid-March.
Republican activists meeting over the weekend in Greensboro approved presidential primary rules
that would award delegates proportionally according to the amount of the vote candidates receive.

A bill given final General Assembly approval late last week shifted the presidential primary date
from late February to March 15 to keep Democrats and Republicans from running afoul of
national party calendar rules that would have led to the reduction in the size of North Carolina’s
delegation and clout in choosing their nominees at the convention.
The bill also directs the presidential contests needed to be winner-take-all, but gives the state
party an out should that winner-take-all directive run counter to party rules. Democrats already
require proportional distribution of delegates. The state GOP had to tell the national party by
later this week about their presidential primary details.

Conspiracy or not, you don’t change the rules in the middle of a race. Of course, the GOPe will claim there’s precedent with Pelosi changing the wording on the Hawaiian DNC for the usurper.
Bump!
