Since the show seems to have turned into a three hour long informercial for USCCA, and how Mark talks over almost all of his guests, I'm ending the thread posts.
Since I've discovered this guy named Bill Frady, and his daily Lock and Load Radio show, I've become seriously addicted.
I apologize to those on the ping list, but Frady's a LOT better. And, Bill actually replies to me when I send him messages. Mark Walters and Seanto have NEVER replied to any of my inquiries.
Final Ping.
I’ll google Frady. Here in CA we don’t get gun related shows so much.
Bill Frady ?? will have to google that show up ..... tired here as well of the infomercial concept .
Grateful for the ping list efforts.... Thanks
M4L Lock and Load Radio
Yeah. Frady suffered a heart attack earlier this year, and I thank God that he’s still here to educate the masses.
I’ve been binge-listening to his shows on iTunes (Their archives only go back to April -episode 671), and am up to episode 688 now.
He’s had Shawn Herrin from the WeLikeShooting (http://www.welikeshootingpodcast.com) Podcast on his show twice so far. That’s how I discovered him.
It's definitely lost its luster. The talking over part is annoying no matter who does it. One of the best AAR shows was when Mark was out for a week and Seanto did the whole show. It was really nice to hear a question posed and then an uninterrupted response.
I listen to the archive version and I've been just zipping right through the first fifteen minutes or so because I got tired of Walters droning editorial about his 'topic of the day'. He also never misses an opportunity to throw in one of his adopted memes. Dude, once I've heard "Moms demand action (isn't that a silly name)" three-hundred times it's enough.
Thanks for the Bill Frady tip.
I remember the Seanto Show. It was pretty good.
The repetitiveness that Walters does is exactly why I gave up on Hannity.
As for the opening monologue of Frady...
OMG!
He delivers it with a kind of stern passion and inner strength. He also has this great habit of inserting a trademark mischievous giggle mid-sentence at the exact right spot of the rant.
And I love that he starts each segment with his sponsor, then it’s done and over with. Unlike Walters going on and on about where’s he traveling, the USAA’s so-called, “Giveaways,” etc.
Granted, Walters has some great guests (John Lott, Alan Korwin, David Codrea, etc.), but a lot of them also join Bill’s morning show as well.
Bill Frady is just a steaming hot pile of determined and angry fresh second amendment air that fills my aching lungs and ears with freedom.
(Sorry. I was attempting to channel Uncle Ted for a second there. He’s also on Lock and Load a lot, too)
