Today I am going to be stepping away from politics and news stories for a show and I'm just going to talk about this subject of what happens and where we go when we die, according to the bible. This is an important subject for many people and it brings along with it many questions and much uncertainty. Today hopefully I'll ease some of that uncertainty if you have it, and hopefully help you realize that for those of us who do, we serve a Living God. That same God loves His children very much. Naturally, He wants to be with those who love Him in return, whether they are living in a flesh body, or whether they've passed on to the next body. Those who don't believe sorrow because they have no hope. We do believe, and we do have hope. Hopefully indeed that message comes through today. You can listen live at 4:30 Eastern time and it will be archived after that.
If you’ve received Jesus Christ, you’ve already died (Rom 6:6; Col 3:3), been born again of God, have eternal life, and at some point when your body ceases to function, you will fall asleep and go to Heaven forever.
Those who have not received Jesus Christ are still in their sins. They have been redeemed from their sins by Jesus Christ’s single, perfect sacrifice for the whole world (Heb 10:12,14; I John 2:2), but they must receive that redemption by accepting Jesus. If they do not receive Jesus Christ in their lifetime, they forfeit the free gift of eternal life, die needlessly in their sins, and are punished eternally in Hell that was prepared for Satan and his angels and was never meant for man.
2Co 5:8
“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”
EXCEPT on election day when the dead rise and vote Democratic, even though they never registered to vote when alive.
Now that's funny right there!
Sadly mostly true.
Eternal punishment for limited sin is not Divine Love.
Exactly, that sort of God would be a psychopath.
Deuteronomy 4:19 & Malachi 1:11.
Well played, sir.
At a Jeb Rally.
A God who takes our punishment on Himself so we do not have to experience it certainly is Divine Love
Where are the dead?
They live in our past
all safe and secure
pressing harsh hope against time.
It's the same when you're stupid.
Exactly correct.
That is the Good News. It proves God loves us.
Given the state of medicine under Obamacare it's less a boast and possibly a plea for sympathy.
I didn't think you could get any sillier humblegunner...I was wrong.
