I'm am so SICK and TIRED of being told by the GOP and the 'conservative talking heads' that I'm stupid, emotional, 'baffled', not thinking straight, having a 'tantrum', am racist, or some other ((insert insult here)) for choosing to support Trump as my candidate!
The people who I have voted for, the people who *I* helped put in office, now dare to insult my choice today?!
They didn't seem to have one problem with my ability to rationalize when I was sending them money and pulling the lever for *them*. Why is my judgement now questionable?
The talking heads who I once respected have NO respect for conservatives now. I cannot turn on the news without hearing about how simple and emotional Trump supporters are.
How insulting. How condescending. How rude.
It's taken all summer, but now the b@$tard$ have finally GOT an emotional reaction out of me.

I’ve tried unsuccessfully on a few occasions to explain to left-leaning acquaintances that Barack Obama in 2008 was a far more implausible candidate for President than Donald Trump is now. The only thing Obama had going for him was his race, the fact that he could speak articulately and all the great stuff people projected onto him.
Regardless of what one thinks of Trump, he is a known quantity.

I love your post! It’s hard to believe we voted in the ineffectual “representatives of the people” to do absolutely nothing “for the people”... Trump seems to understand what we need to turn the country around, if it’s not too late.
I heard the following “logic” from George Will today...
Republicans haven’t nominated anyone who hasn’t held elected office since Ike and he doesn’t count because he was already a world class statesman.
Of all the people who may actually be nominated, Jeb is the frontrunner with 7%.
So none of the other “serious” candidates are more than 6% behind the “frontrunner”.
Therefore, it’s a very close race!
If trump does win and the gope win the house and senate look for them to try to block trump at every turn something trey refused to do with the alien the last 8 years. I cannot wait for trump to take to the air and point out each and every one of them.

I will NEVER again vote for anyone who REMOTELY has ANY position against ANY conservative value.
