No religion could be atheist/agnostic. That is what government is.
It definitely does not favor Christianity and in the name of PC it does seem to favor Islam and black violence for some reason.

For anyone who is serious about their faith the answer is straightforward... but not easy. We will do well to recall that God will not forget us, but that doesn’t mean He will set aside the persecution, only that we can be victorious over it thru his strength.
The persecution will give many opportunities, both to weed out the false teachers and CINOs and to give Christians an opportunity to see the truth that the average American is blind to today. Perhaps when Christians are slaughtered in the streets or burned alive in their churches or maimed in attacks on their homes, perhaps then the average person on the street who has been endless brainwashed about “self-righteous, intolerant, narrow-minded, anti-intellectual” Christians will finally see the truth. And that it is really the architects of the anti-Christian persecution who fulfill that caricature very nicely.
Certainly there are scary times ahead for those who profess Jesus as their savior. We must continue to turn to Scripture where God strengthens us. Heaven is our home, not this sinful place.
Regardless, society has gotten pretty depraved when it accepts abominable behavior as normal, and opposition to open sin as abnormal. If not Revelation 13 days, certainly Romans 1 days...
