I hate it when George Will is right and so many Freepers are wrong.

I hate it when so many Freepers fail to see that destroying the GOPe and its hold on the levers of the Republican party's power is more important than any specific issue, with the exception of immigration, and Donald is right on that issue.

George Will is a counterfeit Republican, and has been one for at least two decades.

Agreed. I have grown to deeply despise George Will with his uppity country-club Republican attitude, but he is correct that Trump is not a true conservative. Problem is that neither is George Will, so nobody supporting or leaning Trump will listen to him.

Cruz or lose!

Nobody knows that yet Colonel....and I wouldn’t be too quick to discount Trump...it’s not just some here supporting him, more and more are dropping their party affiliation because they don’t give a rats fanny what party he’s with.

If you think about we’ve already dropped both parties ourselves...so might as well understand that the political climate has changed and with it so are the voters.

You can thank the GOP leadership for Trump. They created him by stabbing conservatives in the back and support Obama's agenda.

Given the current crowd of republicans, is that a bad thing? Just look at the real republicans. They won’t defund Obamacare, EPA, IRS, Common Core, Obama’s amnesty plans or Planned Parenthood. They won’t fund a border fence, fight for voter ID or a flat tax. That’s even when they control both Houses.

Ted Cruz: ‘Foolish’ for GOP to criticize Trump

He says that it is dangerous to dismiss a candidate with this type of drawing power.

FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Texas Sen. Ted Cruz on Monday warned that the Republican presidential candidates who are slamming Donald Trump do so at their political peril.

Cruz’s remarks, which came during an interview with POLITICO as he swings through the South on a bus tour, are among the most detailed comments to date regarding his reluctance to criticize the real estate mogul, who is currently leading the polls in the GOP primary.

“I would … note that an awful lot of Republicans, including other Republican candidates, have gone out of their way to smack Donald Trump with a stick. Now I think that’s just foolish,” he said.

Asked why, Cruz paused and then replied, “Donald Trump had a rally in Phoenix, Ariz. [to which] between 10 and 20 thousand people came out. When you attack and vilify the people at that rally as crazies, it does nothing to help Republicans win in 2016. I’d like every single person at that rally to show up and vote in 2016, knock on doors with energy and passion, and turn this country around. If Washington politicians show contempt and condescension to those [voters,] that is a path to losing at the ballot box.”

And when asked whether he wants those voters to eventually support him, he replied, “It is my hope to earn the support of the supporters for every other candidate in 2016.”

“I hate it when George Will is right and so many Freepers are wrong.”

When is that going to happen?

Or do you believe Will when he says real average Americans who support Trump’s fight against illegal immigration are “invertebrate conservatives”?

I don’t think that many Freepers are wrong. I believe we’re just enjoying ourselves with a candidate who doesn’t give a darn and speaks his mind.

“George Will missed the Reagan Revolution not only in 1976 but as late as 1980. In the 1979 Republican Presidential Primary, his first choice was Howard Baker, his second choice was George H. W. Bush, and his third choice was Reagan. Not until days before the 1980 general election did he write on November 3, 1980 that Reagan deserved election.

For all his wonderful columns, the Republican electorate better understood the needs of the nation and the excellence of a potential Reagan presidency than Will. It is hard to believe he was so wrong about a matter of such great import, despite Reagan’s presence on the national scene for many years.”

Ask yourself how many times George Will has been right in recent years.

Then ask yourself how many of these Trump FReepers have been wrong over those same years.

Good luck with that, because sooner or later you’re going to need new prescription lenses.
