Yesterday, on the one-year anniversary of the death of Michael Brown that fueled the Ferguson riots and the Black Lives Matter movement, presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt) unveiled a new “Racial Justice” platform.
Sanders’ platform includes having Black Lives Matter protesters help “reinvent how we police America,” the proclamation that America is worse than the “Communist totalitarian state of China” in terms of incarcerations rates, and providing “free” college tuition.
On the issues page for “Racial Justice,” Sanders lays out the different kinds of violence he believes “people of color” experience, which includes physical, political, legal, and economic violence.
To address physical violence, Sanders wants to “reinvent how we police America.” …

I think Sanders could win - or Hillary will realize she needs to “out-socialist” him.
Either way - add the 47% to the power of the crony-capitalists and assorted statists in bed with the government, and you have a winning election formula.
At that point, the USA is irreversibly on the path to becoming Argentina or Venezuela. It will just take longer, because we still have the world’s reserve currency, and a kick-butt military which will enforce it.
Free education ... changing law enforcement ... hey, if it gets you elected then what the hell. Maybe I could get elected too. I herebt announce free food, housing and transportation for every American since they are fundamental human rights.

At least he is overtly racist, so there’s that breath of fresh air.
Under current conditions in our society, that is a statement only possible from a child or a hopelessly mad adult.
Perhaps a realistic alternative might be to seek ways to "reinvent" the dysfunctional hood culture responsible for most of the justified attention from police in America?
Like lose 'tude, and stop considering direction from law enforcement as option suggestions, followed soon after by African Violence...
