Full Title: Schlafly: Treat Gay Marriage Ruling ‘Like Abe Lincoln Treated Infamous Dred Scott Case’ – ‘We Don’t Have to Obey’

Conservative activist, best selling author, and syndicated columnist Phyllis Schlafly said the 5 (of 9) judges on the Supreme Court who voted for homosexual marriage “made it up” because there is nothing in the Constitution about such arrangements, and added that Americans, like Abraham Lincoln, should treat the ruling like the Dred Scott case: don’t accept it or obey it.

“That’s right, there's nothing in the Constitution about homosexual marriage,” said Schlafly during a July 29 interview on PIJN News, hosted by Gordon Klingenschmit.

“The judges made it up,” she said, “and some people think that because they did, and the Supreme Court has spoken, therefore we have to accept it. We don't.”

This grand woman has been a conservative stalwart for as long as I can remember.

She was also instrumental in helping to defeat the ERA, the so-called Equal Rights Amendment the radical feminists were pushing in the 70's.

And yes, she's right again, massive civil disobedience to this SCOTUS perversion ruling is called for.

The ruling is unconstitutional.

She is right. Which candidates are willing to do this?

The constitution is currently not being followed. Therefore we don’t have a constitution.

Our federal government is a creation of the states. When this creation gets out of control, then the states have the right to abolish it or change it.

Besides the three branches of federal government that we are aware of,
there exists a fourth branch which most people forget, it is the states. And actually, as mentioned above, this fourth branch has more power and authority than any of othe other three combined.

It is time for the fourth branch to assume it’s proper authority, and alter or abolish the other three.

Yes it is and it's brewing.

Checks and balances.

Executive branch is holding a race card in one hand, and a knife against our throats in the other.

Checks and balances? The founders always assumed the citizens would never elect their own abuser. But they did.

There is only one check against stupidity.
Pain. Lots of pain.

I recall someone saying 1871 after the civil war is a turning point. Turning a republic with sovereign citizens into a corporation with employees and assets owned by world banks.

And their premise is what this nation has been since is a servant/slaves to its owners, its debtors-the world bankers..’not the people’

Not just symbolic terms like democrats claim every election, but real, allodial title terms. Owned. And the reps elected work for the corporation, not the people..

Now that may be too wild or deep a conversation but it would explain a lot..

The Republicans, with the exception of Cruz, Santurum and Huckabee have already caved to homo fascists and will will do absolutely nothing about marriage if one of them is elected president.

That had to do with the closing of the frontier. Free land fills up with people and subsistence living looks less attractive. At some point people redefine that kind of freedom as poverty, and it no longer becomes an attractive option.

After the frontier filled up, the freedom Daniel Boone had to just move on when he saw somebody's fireplace smoke on the horizon disappeared. Many farmers went heavily into debt. Others took factory or office jobs. Others tried to live at public expense.

It also has a lot to do with widening the franchise. When everybody has the vote, it's likely that people will use their vote to get stuff for themselves at others' expense (this was going on even before that, but on a much smaller scale).

What I'm trying to say is that even if the Civil War never happened or even if the other side won, we wouldn't be living in some kind of libertarian utopia now. Government would still have a lot of power and so would those bankers you object to.

I don’t object to bankers or government.
I already know I was born into slavery.

But who the Son sets free, is free indeed.
