Trump comes in on Fox and Friends at 4 minutes and 30 seconds.
Here is the link from Fox and Friends yesterday,

[Trump states that the only reason these GOP candidates are calling for him to step out of the campaign is because they are doing poorly in the race. Graham, Jindal and Perry are the 3 that are speaking out the most and they are the ones that are in the last places.]
Interesting.
Perry and Graham I’m not surprised.......Jindal I am.
I’m a veteran and I’m not offended in the least by Trump’s characterization of John McCain.
Jindal is a loser
He seriously has no shot of winning, why waste the time and money?
Must be looking to pocket campaign contributions.
Trump's rage is mercurial and his brash style may be great for firing people up. But some of his positions are telling. In front of an Evangelical group, he was asked if he ever prayed to God for forgiveness. His reply was something like he never gave that much thought. If you court their vote, might you not want to at least seem to think God is more important than Donald Trump?
We’ve watered down the meaning of a hero. Was McCain heroic for surviving capture? Yes. Is everyone who serves a hero simply because they serve? Uh, no. Does being a war hero excuse everything else a person does in life? Definitely not.
Bottom line: Senator McCain deserves thanks for his service, but he’s a terrible senator who’s wrong on most of the major issues of today.
BTW, I don’t think Vietnam vets will rally to McCain’s side and protest Trump over Trump’s comments. Many vets despise McCain’s politics.
ithink you should actually listen to what he said
So you call a P.O.W. that turns on his fellow P.O.W.s a hero?

Well said and I agree!
I think he should remember Reagan’s 11th Commandment. He wants to attack his “fellow” (in quotes because his allegiance to any party is ephemeral) Republicans with vitriol and slander. He is like Don Rickles, not a serious political leader.
I think mazda77 put it best. Benedict Arnold was undeniably a war hero, too.
Saw it at the time. Fox and Friends were really gunning for Trump. I laughed all the way through their oh so “offended” defense of McCain. It is long past time for the spoiled rotten little boy McCain to get his comeuppance. He has never cared a flip for other Veterans.
1. Trump didn’t appear to be “enraged”. Actually, he was quite casual, stating facts and responding to an unfair statement about him. It’s something we all do, or would like to do, when falsely accused of something. He has the money/freedom to actually do that. More power to him.
2. The statement he’s being crucified for is a clip used by the MSM, incomplete, and out of context.
3. Re praying for forgiveness: So he answered honestly. (OMG! How could a politician even think of giving an honest response?!) We Evangelicals appreciate honesty. If he follows the Constitution strictly, that’s really what all Christians should want. Guarantee our freedom to practice our religion.
We’ve had “Evangelical” (Baptist) presidents recently, and how did that work for us? Clinton who was/is a pig and lied pathologically, and Carter who’s a frickin’ Commie. If Clinton were asked if he asked God for forgiveness, of course he’d say that he did; it would be expedient. But it would be a lie.
Trump won’t win the presidency most likely. In the meantime, though, I love that he’s saying things that need to be said and he’s being heard. Continuing to let him speak the truth can only help us.
So, you and the people who came to see you are publicly attacked and called “crazies” and previously “Whacko Birds”,and you are not to respond in kind? I would submit that some Don Rickles shock and awe is what is needed in this country. Remember, there is always a thread of truth in comedy. That is what made Rickles so funny and popular.
Well, yes. But, I always wonder how much of the public piety reflects the reality of life. I guess I am cynical, but the "holier than thou" thing does not hold much water for me.
Tell me how you feel about right to life and sexual deviancy and I can figure it out. I do not presume to do God's work of judging souls.
He could have easily lied on the forgiveness question.
If he had said yes, that opens the door for an onslaught of media questions.
I think he was smart to give the answer he did - it fits with his character.
It is entirely possible that Trump, being Trump, has asked for forgiveness but would never ever admit it.
