McCain is no hero. On the contrary he is a traitorous scumbag who dishonored the uniform of the United States Navy. As I said on another thread he flew an airplane, got shot down, and surrendered to the enemy. I don't know what went down during his stay at the Hanoi Hilton, but by his own admission he did/said some things for which he was ashamed.

Once he was repatriated and safely ensconced in the US Senate, he led efforts to whitewash the staggering amount of evidence that we had left some troops behind when exited Vietnam with our tail between our legs.

Please anyone who is going to pass judgement on what someone did while being physically and mentally tortured daily is a a fool. If you want to k ow what he endured go find out, it’s all out there, and I doubt there are many men who could endure half as much without breaking.

I may not care much for many of McCains political stands on various issues, but anyone trying to judges he man for his actions while I’m caprivitiy is a loon.

With all that said this whole thing is trumped up nonsense, Trump is a bombastic self promoter, and I doubt highly he is serious about desiring to be president. I am glad he is out there bringing attention to the issue he currently is, and I am not offended by him saying he doesn’t consider McCain a hero, but those attacking his service are just fools as far as I’m concerned.
