The US Air Force has cancelled an Independence Day event at a UK base over security concerns.
The Red Arrows had been due to perform today at RAF Feltwell in Norfolk, during a two-day public event hosted by USAF members based at RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall.

Spent some time at both of these. They’re pretty close together IIRC.
My home base was RAF Upper Heyford where they kept the F-111s. Funny, last time I saw a picture of the runway there the base had been closed and the runways were being used to store imported cars. Bumper to bumper, end to end.....
In other words Obama couldn’t get gay rainbow smoke to the UK fast enough.
I would order the planes guns loaded and tell them to enjoy themselves.
I was stationed at RAF Lakenheath (1967-1970) before Political Correctness and the fear of EVERYTHING had taken over the timid American military.
Now look, we are scared of our own shadows...on a military base for crying out loud.
The terrorist have already won without killing anyone there.
Was hot as heck. Luckily we were just outside a glass enclosed biosphere when water sprinkles showered the whole area. Some people inside exited real quick. I took my daughter by the hand, entered and walked the whole distance, turned around and doubled back. Birds were rolling in it.
