Very dangerous pursuit in west LA.
Perp’s a nun, right?
Just how often do the runners actually get away? (zilch)
Amish, in horse drawn carriages.
What did they do, steal somebody’s water?
Ho-hum.
One motorcyclist got away in nearby Orange County recently. The motorcycle did not have a license plate and the police were unable to locate.
A motorcycle really only needs to beat/outsmart the helicopter to get away. Almost never happens though.
it says
The driver of the black Isuzu Rodeo was wanted for reckless driving, Rubio said.
Aerial video of the pursuit showed the driver weaving in and out of traffic on the eastbound 10 Freeway.
He exited the freeway at La Cienega Boulevard and drove into some type of gated area in Mid-City.
The driver parked the SUV in a parking lot and exited the vehicle and sat down on the ground.
Check back for updates on this story.
(A shot looking down at an Isuzu...but video is still buffering for me)
Did it once on my dirt bike in the 70’s, basically waited him out in the hills. You can easily lose the police on a Motorcycle if you do it in the first 2-3m minutes, after that give up. We ran and got away hundreds of times on our dirt bikes in the 70’s and early 80’s
now an aerial shot, couple police vehicles
no sound
They think it’s going to end like a video game and they’ll just go get pizza later.

YAHOO!
Haven’t had a good car chase in a long while.
Observe the militarized police. At least no one was hurt or killed but seriously, do the police need to be carrying that kind of firepower? No.
“Very dangerous pursuit”
I was going to say as opposed to what, then I remembered this:

Sounds exciting! I’m sure that can still happen in many places.
