It is my deepest wish that none of the following should ever happen, but logic says it will.
The Supreme Court has taken its place at the head of the charge to destroy the Roman Catholic Church in America. Under all the impassioned arguments about love winning out the leering minions of hate and lies have won a major victory. Now they can gather their forces to attack their real enemy, the one that has always been the unspoken target: The Roman Catholic Church in America.
For all its faults and self-inflicted damage, the Catholic Church in America is still the last significant obstacle to the lefts dream of destroying morality in our nation. The SCOTUS decision to legalize violating Gods law has put the Catholic Church in a corner that the whole country had better hope She can get out of.
Those who hate the Catholic Church will try to strike while the issue is hot and force satanic Gay weddings on the church before the next Gay Pride parade. There are probably already plans in place to ask Catholic Churches to perform Gay marriages with lawsuit papers in the pockets of those who will be offended when they are denied. To save time and money Satans minions will go after the Archdiocese of New York and the dioceses of San Francisco and Boston simultaneously. They will not bother to go after other Christian Churches because if they can bring down the Catholic Church they have all the legal precedent they need to force ALL religions in America to yield to their evil intentions.
To trick people into supporting their cause they will get very ordinary looking homosexuals and lesbians to be the face of their cause. There wont be any Gays wearing leather hats g-strings and boas...

After the Pope has gone full commie, they should be looking at real estate in Avignon to see if they can make that the seat of the church again.
They can demand all they want, but those married in the church are joined in Holy Matrimony. Not so with homosexuals. Let them go to the justice of the peace for their “marriage”. They’ll get the league standing and “benefits” they wanted. Oh, wait...you mean that wasn’t what it was really about?
“the Catholic Church in America is still the last significant obstacle to the left”
Coach,
You are in dreamy land.
The Catholic Church in America has NEVER been a significant obstacle to the left. It is a protestant country. As the protestants go, so goes America.
And yet, they aren’t demanding to be “Married” by Imams...
I cannot imagine why. Can You?
Going after the Catholic Church like this immediately would definitely be overreach, and I would hope they do it sooner rather than later (after the frog sits in the hot water a little longer).
The Supreme Courts ruling has the unprecedented effect of placing parts of our Constitution in direct conflict with other parts of our Constitution. The 14th Amendment (also used to enact Roe v. Wade) has been elevated to Prime Amendment. If practicing my sincere faith makes me refuse to do a gay wedding, Im now subject to prosecution for the now mortal sin of discrimination. If practicing my sincere faith makes me an offender, subject to legal sanction then in fact I have no freedom of religion or conscience as I no longer can legally practice it publicly. The (former?) First Amendment and all the rest of the Constitution is now subservient to the now all-powerful 14th.
Let's strive to be as accurate as possible.
Abso-friggen-lootly. I’d bet two brown scapulars on it.
My experience was that the Church asks first and foremost are you Catholic and if you are open to having children.
One would assume priests would deny them right then and there.
Its not a “show up because you like the incense” type of thing. IOW, they ask questions.
Christianity teaches peace and love for their fellow man. That's a good thing, too, right? So is charity, and they lead the way. How can the haters be against charity for the poor?
Hate for others who do not agree with you are nothing short of a hate crime. All the the Christians are asking for is tolerance and equality. Just a little tolerance. Just a little equality. Just a little compassion. Who are others to judge how the Christians should live? Or what they choose to love?
Is it too much to ask to give these things to them? If you cut them, do they not bleed? Don't they have the right to live in this country in security and safety just like everyone else?
How can the Christan haters be so cruel to other people? How can they be so undiverse, intolerant, bigoted, and noninclusive like this? What's wrong with those people? Who would want to be like these people?
Do we expect them, in all their glorious dysfunction, after winning every thing they desire to just slink back into a quiet, normal existence, living in peaceful harmony with a society they have never been a part of, not due to society but because of themselves. It will NEVER happen and that is because they ARE dysfunctional and have a mental illness. Their primary need is to be normal and they will never be, no matter what law is passed or who accepts them. They celebrated this weekend, expecting satisfaction, I suspect they woke up this Monday morning with the same emptiness they felt before the ruling.
One wonders if Jeremiah Wright has conducted a homosexual wedding service yet? Didn’t he run an underground dating service for closeted homosexuals- the “down low club”

Yep. Only offer one type of marriage according to what the church does - teach and follow the Bible. The only type of marriage they offer is between a man and a woman. They can't do anything else. They don't understand nor need to know about the politically correct doctrines of demons. That's not the product they offer. There are other institutions out there that can do it. Isn't this country's diversity great?
If anyone wants something else, I'm sure there are other places they can go. Diversity and the freedom to be diverse is a good thing, right? Who are these haters who think they can tell other people in the church community how they should live? Or what their version of love should be? Or what books they can read and/or follow?
Who are these hate filled, intolerant, noninclusive bigots who are denying the church their freedom to pursue their lifestyle choice, anyway?
I don't know how these haters can look at themselves in the mirror. Maybe they just need some time for self-refection.
Lets stop referring to these ceremonies as gay marriage or same sex marriage. They are Satanic rituals.
Satan is sin and they want to spit in the face of the church with their Satanic rituals.
Catholics should be asking themselves why their utterly useless pope doesnt personally excommunicate Anthony Kennedy for heresy.
I did ask myself that, and here’s what I came up with...he is, silently, overjoyed by this turn of events; of course, he won’t pronounce it publicly, and his supporters will say ‘See, he’s perfectly hunky-dory’...
But, in truth, I believe he and Kennedy are kindred spirits blessing each other for their common causes...
USE THE LEFTS OWN RULES AGAINST IT!! They work, so we need to use them to OUR advantage as well, and there's nothing they could do to stop us. THEN both sides will be equal in the propaganda war and the real debate can begin.
Our bishop (small diocese) wrote a good letter that was to be read at all masses yesterday...and a lot of the priests (older VII types) didnt read it.
I attended a Tridentine Mass yesterday; the priest is also parish pastor of a Novus Ordo church...in his sermon, he addressed the issue of USSC meddling with the sacrament of Holy Matrimony, and he also spoke about the displeasure he got from his parishioners over the same sermon...he said to us “I could tell all of you one thing, and you won’t bat an eye, but my parishioners would think I’m crazy...’
I also believe the chink in the Catholic armor is some out of the way parish with a closet activist as priest; I believe two lesbians from a modern order will approach him to get married, and he will perform the ritual...it will take complicity on both parts to effect it...
in other words, no one will force the Church to concede...the Church shall do so on Her own...
DAMN IT! People don't want to hear negative stuff!! They gravitate to pleasing words. We use "murder of babies" and the left uses "choice." Between these two, which words bring comfort and which worlds bring distress?
We live in an emotional society today. Because of liberalism, logic is on the wain.
If you want people to come to our side we have to use pleasing emotional words and imagines. That's how the left has been winning all the debates !! They put a pretty face on the vilest of passions! People only see the mask!
Fudge packing, or "gay?"
Infant dismemberment or "choice?"
Free handouts to freeloaders, or "public assistance?"
Then they call us the haters, because their words are always soooooo nice and loving (no matter how repulsive their agenda).
GET IT?
No more "baby killing." It doesn't work. It makes people uneasy. Instead, how about "Saving the lives of children" or "Every life matters?" "Life is love?" "The beauty of procreation?" Who can object or be repulsed by any of these words? These are the things people will not only agree with, but crave!
GET IT? This is how the left is winning. When they change the language, they change the debate.
We must change our language and change the debate as well - then we'll be on equal footing, and the real debates will begin.
I don’t think this will happen...the Catholic church, even now, has strict rules on whom they will marry in the church....Baptismal status, qualifications to receive the SACRAMENT, prior marriage status, etc...I think that there are enough rules in place to prevent this from happening. Two men are not qualified to receive SACRAMENTAL marriage, women are not qualified to receive the SACRAMENT of Holy Orders....it just can’t be done.
