Conservative commentator Ann Coulter ripped The Associated Press Monday after the wire organization released a picture of Sen. Ted Cruz with a gun pointed directly at his head.
The photo, which was taken during a Cruz event at a CrossRoads Shooting Sports store in Johnston, Iowa Saturday, caused a stir among conservatives in the aftermath, though the AP claims it had no intention to portray Cruz in a negative light.
That is so outrageous, Coulter told Fox News Megyn Kelly. Dont insult our intelligence by saying oh, we didnt even notice. Who would have seen something like that?'
After Kelly told Coulter the picture had to make its way through the editorial process, the best-selling author became semi-exasperated.
Look at it! Coulter exclaimed. The two went on to discuss death threats against President Barack Obama since he jumped on the presidential trail in 2007, while comparing the Cruz photo to the halo effect (as Kelly put it) seen in pictures of Obama.
The AP issued a statement Sunday after media outlets picked up on the photo and offered up criticism of the APs choice to publish the image, but changed course Monday, deciding to take the pictures off its wire service.
On Saturday, The Associated Press distributed a series of photos to our member news organizations and other subscribers showing Sen. Ted Cruz at a gun range. The images were not intended to cast the senator in a bad light and they remain available for use by those who received them on Saturday through our photo service, the AP said in a statement. Five of the photos show Mr. Cruz with images of a pistol pointing at his head and upon consideration we have decided to remove those photos from further licensing through AP Images, our commercial photo syndication business.
To a photographer, down-range from the subject of a photo is at least as important as the subject itself. Photographic composition is an art. There is nothing in a photo by accident.
They are a threat, not a negative light, and the photog, editors and publishers need to be jailed.
This is what they do, and this is an example of how they do it. When they aren't hiding truths from you, or telling you outright lies, they always have the subtle subliminal messages pinging on the edges of your consciousness.
The Liberal Media are the people we need to be fighting. Every one of them is an enemy soldier.
Anyone know the name of the photographer?
Larry Storch once told me and my dad that “nothing appears on television or in a movie that wasn’t meant to be there.”
“Every one of them is an enemy soldier. “
I can’t wait until they start getting treated like that way.
Amen. Look how they crucified George Zimmerman. Sarah Palin too.
The FEC should be fining them for in-kind contributions to the Democrat party, and we should be suing them for RICO, for Affirmative action, (Not having the correct quota of conservatives on their staff) and for libel. (and any other thing of which we can think)
We should be challenging their licenses, and pushing tax increases on their industries, and doing every other thing we can to destroy them as an effective political force, because let's face it folks, the modern media is nothing but soldiers for the left.
They are vile, and they wield too much power. They censor us, and cover up the truth on matters detrimental to the left.
The Liberal Democrat Union member media needs to be destroyed. It ought to be the task we most contemplate.
Megan Kelly is trying to sell her soul to Get an interview with Hillary Clinton (see Variety) and is thus going soft on Democrats and defending them more each night, like she did here in confronting Coulter.
She’s also trying to get a fat contract at CNN in 2017, so she is slowly evolving into another liberal like other Fox blondes who did the same move (and sadly, some guys like Major Garrett who is now at CBS asking soft questions at the White House.)
Five of the photos show Mr. Cruz with images of a pistol pointing at his head and upon consideration we have decided to remove those photos from further licensing through AP Images, our commercial photo syndication business.
Of course, the worst part about cross breeding Chrissy Matthews and Pajama Boy is that neither of them would object to the process....
Sorry.
There’s so many ads running on that site, the video is unwatchable.
I found a YouTube link here:

That’s not so subtle.
Found it, his name is Charlie Neibergall. Can’t find his photo though.
Now it is permanently tied to Cruz, and will be seen millions of times.
This is some dark stuff, and about a man that already knows that the media will portray him as evil to the vast and diverse public, for his entire career.
