I suspect everything will be fairly normal within the parameters of this messed up time just like the days of Sodom and Noah. There wasn't a Mad Max time right up to the morning Sodom burned and later when Noah shut the doors and it began to rain. Luke 17 20-37 & 1st Thessalonians 4 are good indicators of what's ahead.

That’s what Luke 17 and Matthew 24 tells us (at one particular point - not the whole thing of course).
