Our sweet big kitty just died peacefully in her sleep after a very short decline. We believe her heart just gave out.
There is a big Patches shaped hole in our hearts just at the moment.
I’m so sorry. :( I’ve lost many a kitty through my life. Just know that you gave her love more than anyone could and the love she gave in return. Prayers up for you.
Pretty cat, prayers for your family in this loss.
So sorry to hear that. It hurts real bad right now, I know.
People say time will heal the wound. Our first (and bestest) cat died in 2006, and every time I think of him, there’s still this ache in my heart. However, memories of his antics still bring a smile on my face.
Most dog people I know won’t get another dog to replace the one they lost, I just think there are lots of other wonderful pets out there deserving a loving home if only you give them a chance. I can absorb the lost, yet still have plenty of love to give to my other cats (adopted after a “suitable” mourning period).
It is probably too early to say this to you right now. Just keep it in mind later.
She’ll remember you forever.
Our heartfelt condolences and regrets. We know from firsthand experience how hard this can be. I’m glad she left you without undue suffering. Our two large Maine Coon kittehs send their condolences too.
Condolences. It is, though, a mercy when they go on their own, quickly. My last 4 pets (2 cats, 2 dogs) was prolonged and you always wonder if you waited to long to help them leave.
I’m so sorry Losing a beloved pet is heartbreaking.
.
So, so sorry on the loss of your kitty!
Condolences, LonePalm. We have had to put down several cats. When the time is right, get yourself a rescue cat. Sooner rather than later.
I am so so sorry. ; (
So sorry to hear about that.. Pets are so dear to our hearts!!
Not a cat person, but my condolences.
I know how it feels to lose a family member, two legged or four legged.
What a beautiful cat!
My little calico girl kitty will be 17 next month. She’s still in excellent health.
I’m so sorry about your loss.
I’m sure she will be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge, like so many of mine are.
In HIS own way GOD has made it fair; how can we ever be expected to understand and cherish love and devotion, if we never have to experience losing it.
We will all meet at the Rainbow Bridge someday.
What a beautiful kitty. I’m so sorry.
Words cannot convey the sorrow you are feeling. I can only offer my deepest condolences on your profound loss. Please be comforted in the knowledge your Patches loved you and you will be reunited on the other side of Heaven. Big hugs and much love from Texas.
I love cats...so I, too, understand.
