The Washington Post wasted no time in explaining why 200 black people at a private pool in McKinney, Texas attacked members of the club, bullied their children, destroyed their property, and assaulted their security guard when he invited them to leave.
White racism.
“America’s swimming pools have a long, sad, racist history,” intoned the Post a few days after the now infamous episode of aquatic black mob violence. “They’ve long been contested spaces where we express prejudices that otherwise remain unspoken.”
The Post columnist, Jeff Wiltse, knows all about that because of all the bad things that happened 80-90 years ago when then, as now, black people were inexorable victims of relentless white racism all the time, everywhere and that explained everything.
Since the Post story, black mob violence at swimming pools has erupted at least two more times.

I remember when we were forbidden to go to the public pool because of the POLIO outbreak back in 1955.
We were allowed to go swimming in the running water dammed up creeks though.
So events of the past justify attacking people today who had nothing to do with those events?
True... Sixty years ago in DeLand, FL, I lived about 1/2 mile from a very nice public pool BUT I COULDN'T SWIM THERE! It was for BLACKS ONLY! My friends and I rode our bikes about 2 miles down to a secluded lake we could swim in (with the gators and moccasins) . Obviously, this was at a time of segregation but, as a kid, I couldn't understand it (nor the fact that the closest little store, run by blacks, wouldn't sell me a coke!)
I guess I was just one of the poor white folks???
I read on the FR that most blacks cannot swim.

Very simply BECAUSE SHE DIDN’T WANT TO PAY. She didn’t want to pay the private facility where she actually held HER event and she wouldn’t have wanted to paid at the PUBLIC facility either. Paying is for White People, don’t cha know? She wanted her “guests” to PAY HER though.

Really? I didn’t think anyone believd that rubbish anymore. There have already been huge conservative backlashes and nothing has happened. The Republicans side with Obama and the voices of any true conservatives are shut down by Republican leadership. Obama has nothing to fear and he knows it too.

I too lived there for a while. Parts of it are upper middle class and very liberal. The demographic in that area deserve section 8 housing.
Did you know a black person can't learn to swim unless they're in a white swimming pool in a white neighborhood... because the ability to swim floats from white skin - and white people don't have to make an effort to learn to swim. It's all magical - done by the skin...
So when black people are anywhere near pools they experience anger - anger as bad as when they heard the N word for the 6,000th time. Well the 5999 other times didn't count because they heard it from people with black skin.. - BUT THE 6,000th TIME WAS FROM A WHITE PERSON - AND THAT MATTERED... THEY FAINTED WITH PAIN... AND IT REMINDED THEM OF WHITE SWIMMING POOLS. And not being able to swim because 'it's white people's fault'...racism.

Its a cultural memory thing,,it goes back 400 years to when swimming in water meant an aligator or hippo would eat you.
I have a friend who owns a major landscaping company and he says 'pool removals' is keeping him very busy.
Anyway......
When I first looked at your pic I thought this was yet another mob of illegal Mexicans floating across the Rio Grande into Texas. When I put on my glasses I realized my mistake. It’s actually ChiCap factory workers from Water Floaty Factory #117 testing the latest Summer product now on it’s way to a Walmart near you.
