Most Americans Expect a Long, Hot Summer of Racial Unrest. Moynihan Would Not Be Surprised.

It’s hard to get 96 percent of people to agree on anything, but last month’s Wall Street Journal/NBC poll found that 96 percent of those surveyed believe we are in for a summer of racial unrest. In the wake of Ferguson and Baltimore, it’s time for some reflection on how we got here.

This year marks two significant anniversaries. In August 1965, the Watts riots broke out in Los Angeles, leading to 34 deaths and $300 million in property damage. Coming after the passage of well-intentioned Great Society welfare programs, the riots made clear that government spending wasn’t going to solve all the problems of urban America.

Indeed, another 50th anniversary we mark this year is that of a seminal work that helped explain why government would be no panacea: Assistant Secretary of Labor Daniel Patrick Moynihan’s “The Negro Family: A Call for National Action.” Published in 1965 and known as “the Moynihan Report,” it burst many bubbles of liberal thinking.

They are gauging reactions constantly, and when they scent weakness and fear, the attacks upon the causasian exurbs will come.

I think most of the attacks will be cyber style.
Look at the people who lost their jobs by commenting on the McKinney incident.
There seems to be organized groups that go after their targets employer.
That’s going to be harder to defend against than a physical mob.

In the early 1830's, Alexis de Toqueville toured America and subsequently wrote of his travels in Democracy in America (1835).

Among his observations, he noted that, amidst a world o opportunity, there was a significant segment of the population which was satisfied with a cabin, a bare subsistence agriculture plus what they could beg, borrow or steal. He identified this segment without ambition and satisfied with subsistence as one in seven. That is, about 14%.

The black community's waking up to a hard truth - white people have stopped buying their excuses. Not all whites, but the process has started and it'll never go back to the old instant guilt and trust...

The black community also fears Soros’s paid ‘protesters’ are destroying the ‘ guilt trip’ - the force that keeps the white money machine primed and pumped.

When that's gone what will blacks have left?

Nothing.

Nothing other than ‘we can burn and riot - destroy cities. But the truth is blacks can't. They can burn their own little hellholes but not ‘cities’. And if they go too far - they'll lose both the ‘guilt trip’ and the ‘fear play’.

Why?

Because there's NOT a ‘people of color’. That's a lie. There's blacks - and there's 'the rest of us'. Korean grocery store owners won't stand with them. Asians in general won't stand with blacks... Asians - like other ethnic groups - earn what they have... The only Hispanics blacks might get are the illegals... even then most illegals DO want jobs someday...

When blacks start riots - they riot alone... Look at the pictures. No one is standing with them except George Soros' paid shills - and some dem paid shills.

The problem for the black community is when blacks ‘go violent’ the community will start to lose black privilege. They'll lose the ‘special help’ with everything from tuition to housing to loans, jobs, training etc. etc. etc.. Once all American who are NOT black see blacks as ingrates.. and violent ingrates at that - the game will be over. They'll be tossed out of the garden and into a world where they must work for what they have.

My guess is people in the black community sense this... they know if black thugs go violent they'll lose big time. It'll be the black community that stops blacks and paid Soros trolls from rioting. The black community has much to lose. They'll expose the trolls... the creeps funded by white liberal elites ... There will be a small riot here - or there - but it'll end quickly.

All of that is true, but here’s why they lose:

7 of 10 of all black pregnancies end in abortion. Compare that to Latinos or Muslims.

They are going to lose because of everything you said, plus the reality that way back when, the truth of Moynihan’s report has been confirmed today - middle class values are the ones blacks should have adopted.

Be a black and espouse this, and you end up getting ‘Coaby’d’.

Replacement rate is everything. Blacks are dying out in the US. Latinos will drive the agenda.

Then liberal elites rigged the system in favor of black women... and against black males. That pushes abortion... Put all that together, stir the pot - and you've got enough rage and desperation to gin up the black vote for years - AND it costs democrats NOTHING.

They don't have to offer blacks anything - not even empty promises. (Yep, Hillary will listen (oh, she feels our pain) - and try to make blacks angry (those Republicans will take away your vote) - but that's it. She doesn't even have to say they'll get their piece of the pie anymore - just nothing.
