When I was a kid, “passing” for white was a goal of many mixed race folks. Who could blame them? There was genuine racism in abundance then.
Now we have an individual who is half white, 3/8 Arab and 1/8 black “passing” as a negro to bluff his way to power. Things sure have changed.

Everyone on this thread must understand that whatever race you declare you are, that is your race. There’s no official criteria beyond that. It’s called self identification. If you say you’re black, or any other race, that’s the race to which you have a right to belong. There’s no conclusively scientific way to to determine the race of anyone.
