I find it interesting that over 5 biker gangs were there but eight of the nine killed were from one gang only, the very gang rumored to have been unwilling to pay a narcotics trafficking territory fee.

Is Waco PD an extension of a drug trafficking entity..?

The shootout sounds vaguely like a drug territory enforcement action by cops, something common in Mexico.

While typically waived, Mr. Clendennen may be well-served to invoke his 6th Amendment rights:

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.

To wit: demand they charge & prosecute him NOW. Stop giving them time to concoct elaborate justifications for convicting an innocent. Get inside their OODA loop and disrupt it before they complete it.

I do not belong to any gang other than the National Rifle Assoc.
I can see being in the wrong place at the wrong time and getting arrested just for riding in on my bike.
But it seems that the cops in this case are trying to outlaw bikes./

I’m hearing a lot of conspiracy theories. My take at this point is when you have a lot of bad actors in one area, the good actor’s would be well served to stay away. Some of these bad actors were verrryyy bad actors and things got way out of control.

[Attorney] Looney revealed that his clients, a couple named English, William and his Morgan, were arrested as they arrived late at the Twin Peaks meeting following their ride from Brenham. A disturbance broke out, and hearing gunfire, they took cover. They were looking forward to a day of fun with fellow motorcycle enthusiasts when they unwittingly ran afoul of the law, local police, deputies and federal officers hell bent on rounding up “thugs.”

English is a Marine veteran of two tours of duty in Iraq. A nine-year veteran worker at Valmont, he and 160 fellow employees were recently laid off. His severance pay has been terminated because he hasn’t been able to check in since his arrest, according to his attorney.

Looney recalled that English said, “I heard two pops that sounded like small caliber gunfire, “Following that, I heard several bursts of assault weapon shots. I recognized the sound because I carried one of those weapons for six years as a marine. That’s all the gunfire I heard. Then the police started screaming ‘Get down!’”

I don't know if this source is reliable, or if the witness's statement was recounted correctly. But, it's an interesting account that might explain what actually happened.

I don't see the media swarming to interview the released bikers. Are they on a gag order? I'm surprised this is happening in Texas.. that 'guilty until proven innocent' reigns supreme in Texas. WTF? The number of dead shot by police should be forcibly revealed via legal action. I have a feeling the truth doesn't support the police's narrative of events.

Perhaps the whole thing was a precursor to Jade Helm. Getting armed bikers out of the equation before the 'exercise' starts.
