Jonah Goldberg: Sid Blumenthal Is A ‘Malevolent, Lugubrious Political Mercenary’ 'More appropriately placed as an advisor to a Medici prince in the 14th century.'
Fox News’s Jonah Goldberg had strong words about Hillary Clinton’s “old friend” Sidney Blumenthal on Tuesday, calling him a “malevolent, lugubrious political mercenary who would be more appropriately placed as an adviser to a Medici prince in the 14th century” than as a political consultant today.
Blumenthal became the subject of controversy when a New York Times report discovered that he sent then-Secretary of State Clinton “unreliable” memos on the Libyan civil war. The memos were produced by associates of Blumenthal who had a financial interest in the region.
The Times reported that Blumenthal was barred by the Obama administration from a job at the State Department, but landed a job at the Clinton Foundation where he continued to exert influence over decision-making at the State Department. He also received money from Clinton-allied groups Media Matters for America and American Bridge.

Beacon was being overly kind in my opinion. IMO Sid Vicious is a vile, evil man. He was Gollum before the movies were made. Whenever I’ve seen his face, I am reminded of a Nazi Gestapo or SS Officer of the worst sort.
He is partisan to his evil bones. Intensely loyal to the Clintons and is probably the number one behind the scenes hit man. It amazes me that the evil inside him has not rotted out his husk, frankly. IMO, truly, truly evil.
The return of that disgusting sleaze, Sid Blumenthal, alone is a reason make sure Hillary! never gets elected.

Mercenary? Has Sick Sid ever worked for a conservative? Medici Prince? Sid wouldn’t last a day with Rodrigo Borgia. The hillbilly Clintons are more his style.
