Comparing a train engineer to an airline pilot is ridiculous. How hard is it to “drive” a train?
Obviously difficult enough that this fine piece of humanity could not do it correctly.
Well, he’s all lawyered up and not talking, but they said he was going over twice the speed limit at 106 mph into a curve
I don’t know how difficult it is myself, but this guy managed to screw it up
“Comparing a train engineer to an airline pilot is ridiculous.”
Admittedly, I only skimmed the article due to liberal-nausea syndrome or LNS. But I think the comparison was promoting a stewardess to air line pilot. Meaning this guy was promoted not on merit but because he was the right diversity flavor.
Well we have 8 dead and 12 missing. I would say hard enough that his guy shouldn't have been doing it.
It took my dad 20 years to work himself into the engineer’s seat. Course he was white.
Pray America is waking
Harder than you might think. Although passenger trains are 'easier' to drive than freight trains, it's still not like driving a car.
One would think that driving a 250+ passenger, 100-mph train would require a tad more experience than operating a cash register at Target. Apparently not.
