By BI: Linda Holtzman, a lesbian, is the senior rabbi at Mishkan Shalom, a synagogue in Philadelphia, and author of My Life as a Lesbian Rabbi” in Lesbian Rabbis: The First Generation. Holtzman, who has made a career of liberal activism, ventured into new territory when she began slapping black-and-yellow ‘hate speech’ stickers on the back of Adolf Hitler’s head. Philly.com Hitler is featured in an anti-Islam ad displayed on SEPTA buses this month, and Holtzman and other Jewish activists have launched a campaign of guerrilla protest.

Holtzman, 62, is on the faculty of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in Wyncote and has been active in campaigns against gun violence, for Palestinian rights, for illegal immigrants, and for a higher minimum wage. She said she was disappointed by the lack of reaction to the Hitler ads. But not a word about this:

I suppose she also went green and drives around in a Prius, she looks like the total package all right. So sharia trumps homosexuality and Judaism in her warped mind, speculation on my part, but it seems her twisted thinking is similar to so many other gay activists. Even though radical islamists would have no compunctions lopping her fool head off, those of her ilk share a common hatred of all things Judeo-Christian and Western with the islamists. So they seek an unholy alliance of convenience. An alliance based on the flawed assumption that an enemy of my enemy is my friend. And we all know what happens when we ASS-U-ME.

BTW, Having worked in rather swell Philadelphia Friends' circles for 20 years, may I respectfully point out that the word "Lesbian" is not used in Phila-Speak? Properly brought up Philadelphians might say "Lebanese," but very quietly.

As in, "Many of the girls rowing on the Schuylkill seem rather ....you know ....Lebanese." Liz? Definitely.

Women are not permitted to be rabbis in authentic Judaism. Of course, Reform “Judaism” is whatever its adherents say it is. Sort of like comparing Naugahyde to real leather. Therefore, whatever she says “in the name of Judaism” is absolute pure fabrication. Especially from a lesbian! No way does she speak for Judaism!
