Presidential candidate and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said on Wednesday that he has never seen a Hispanic person begging for money on the street.
"I don't think I've ever seen an Hispanic panhandler. And the reason is: In our community it would be shameful to be begging on the street," Cruz said.
Cruz, who is of Cuban descent, made the point while speaking in Washington at a question-and-answer session with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
He used the example to argue the Republican Party should be able to compete for the Latino vote. Hispanics, Cruz said, share many of the same values that are championed by GOP leaders....

Sorry you know so little about the topic.
Mexifornia begs to differ.
Lesson one:
Ted Cruz the Presidential Candidate Who Wants to Increase the H1-b Cap by 500 Percent
You're welcome.
Good lord there’s been mexican beggars in the San Fernando valley for decades. Cruz need to work a different topic for a while.
Legal immigration, work permits and illegal immigration. One of these things is not like the other.
I worked at the state unemployment office for 15 years and another 20 as a recruiter and you’re going to teach me about H1-B visas? Why not go instruct Bobby Flay on cooking and once you’re done there look me up, okay?
It remands me of an aspect of my 20+ years of conducting/supervising embassy visa interviews and processing of H-1bs (and every other type of non-immigrant and immigrant visa) -- when I had the honor of declining and returning to INS/DHS hundreds of BS/fraudulent H1-B petitions from shady employers and "recruiters".
Lesson Two: The good Senator himself, speaking on his wish to open the employment-visa floodgates:

Does your town have a name?
He needs to quit talking off script. I will wait for the Cruze worshiper to swoop in. Why do people act like politicians are religiouse saviors at times. Fact is this is a stupid comment but a lot less stupid than the others.

Based on your comment, I would guess that means you're not familiar with and or not lived in venues where rampant immigration, legal and illegal has occurred.
We have a lot of English and Greek immigrants and some Japanese. Our Mexican population is 2.5%. No idea how many are legal vs illegal. I think most of them work or own local Mexican restaurants with a small handful scattered elsewhere. So they aren’t the issue here they are in other areas. They are pretty bad in Richmond though, which is about an hour away.
You don't seem very familiar with what reckless destructive immigration policies and lawless violent borders have done to America.
You've never seen a Hispanic panhander Mr. wolfman23601?
Speaking of handouts and beggers, have you ever seen Hispanics by the millions choking off heath services, welfare, and everything else, while displaying total disrespect for our laws and rules?
Have you ever seen violent Hispanic gangsters, murderers, drug dealers or rapists?
You seem to live a pretty isolated life with little first hand knowledge of what's happening in the U.S. due to endless millions of immigrants and illegals pouring in.
Cheers.
What is your point? We agree on illegal immigration.
