ABC changed the headlines of one of their articles today to give the riots in Baltimore a more sympathetic tone. The headline now reads, "Family, Friends in Baltimore Mourn Death of Arrested Man." The article, with the exact same url, had this headline earlier today: "Violent Protests in Baltimore for Man Injured in Custody."
And despite the fact that the headline now reads, "Family, Friends in Baltimore Mourn Death of Arrested Man," the url still clearly shows the article's original, more accurate headline, as it contains part of the previous headline in it: http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/freddie-grey-protests-turn-violent-baltimore-30590887.
The wording of the article drastically changed as well, despite the fact that both versions say they were published today. And, importantly, ABC did not write that the article had been edited in any way.
The original reads, "A protest over the death of Freddie Grey, who was critically injured in police custody, started peacefully with thousands marching through downtown streets before the demonstration turned violent and volatile," emphasizing how the violence has spiraled.
Now, it is the opposite, with ABC claiming that the violence has subsided into peaceful mourning: "A night of violence gave way to a day of mourning Sunday for a man who died after sustaining serious injuries while in the custody of Baltimore police."

"Businesses in Baltimore throw open doors for mourners to receive free items for wakes",
in lieu of:
"Rioters loot every liquor store in Baltimore, burn Walmart to ground".
