I suppose I will be accused of sexism for perpetrating the sterotype of the dumb woman, but really now, how can any rational, objective observer of the antics of State Department spokesperson Marie Harf come to any other conclusion than she's a dimwit?
Responding to a brilliant op-ed in the Wall Street Journal by former Secretaries of State Henry Kissinger and George Schultz, Harf moved David Brooks to ask Hugh Hewitt, "Are we in nursery school"?

“I wouldn’t say that it’s damning,” Harf said of Kissinger and Shultz’s damning verdict on the Iran deal. “And I didn’t hear a lot of alternatives. I heard a lot of big words and big thoughts in that piece, and those are certainly – there’s a place for that – but I didn’t hear a lot of alternatives of what they would do differently.”
The notion that no one has submitted any alternatives to the administration’s terrible Iran deal is a convenient but baseless straw man that it trots out whenever confronted with an incontrovertibly accurate critique of the deal. It is, of course, not true. It doesn’t take a genius to identify in those “big words” deployed by these two former statesmen to identify alternative proposals.

Marie Harf was raised in Granville, Ohio, about 30 minutes from where I live. Granville is a historical, wealthy small town, the home of Dennison University and is a way left, liberal Mecca surrounded by farmers and middle class people. She looks just like everyone else in Granville and she has overrated her intellect, just like everyone as well.
She was educated beyond her intelligence by the 3rd grade, but this was later corrected by remedial college courses.

Same old crap as in defining pornography is a requirement.

She is a liberal. Liberals can’t think. There corrected. Just like Josh (ing) Earnest (can’t be in this administration). If they are talking they are lying. It all comes from the top.
That about nails it. Harf is a typical arrogant liberal elite who got straight A's by parroting liberal drivel in academia and aligning herself with other liberals in politics. In a real world she couldn't succeed in even in flipping burgers. She is so far beyond her depth in the State Department it is scary
Have no fear, Miss Harf will be hired by one of the major News divisions after this administration leaves office. Probably at a nice 6 figure income and will never see her on TV except as a talking head. Or in her case, a sock puppet.
Too many of these people are hired at wages way above what they are worth. Maybe she could really qualify for work at McDonald’s, but not at the drive through.
