Sharia USA: Delaware Radio Host Fired for Islamic Comments
The norming of sharia. What this radio host said is not unreasonable, and even less grounds for firing, but that is where we are in the US. Perhaps he could have packaged it better, but is that where we are? Yes. Every thought has to be pre-screened and edited for consumption? Its like we are living in an Islamic country. Shredding the first amendment.
Muslim armies across the world are waging holy war in the cause of Islam. The human toll is unfathomable, the body count daily. American Muslims are flocking to join the jihad and we are not allowed to talk about the threat here at home.
If I lived in Delaware, I would be protesting this radio station. Adding insult to injury or should I say terror to sharia, USA Today asks a terror-linked group, CAIR, for comment. Thats rich, but it illustrates just how twisted this whole conflict has become. My colleagues and I are never asked for comment, but a designated terrorist group is the go-to guy. CAIR insists that it condemns the killing of innocents, but never fully explains that under Islam, non- Muslims are not innocent. Further, while Muslims in the US condemn the Islamic State, where are they teaching against the ideology that gave rise to it?
Nothing is being done to stop jihad recruiting in US mosques, even as several hundred young Muslims from the US have gone to wage jihad for the Islamic State. Why doesnt USA Today ask CAIR about that?
jake smith
WILMINGTON, Del. A prominent Delaware radio host has been fired after saying on air that as far as Im concerned, not every Muslim is guilty, but every Muslim is suspect of sympathizing with Islamic extremists.
Jake Smiths comments came during 97 seconds of verbal sparring with a caller that aired during the live Mike and Jake in the Morning show Feb. 20 on WGMD-FM. It led to his dismissal from the station that same day, Smith said in an interview, although word of that dismissal is just now leaking out.
The Rehoboth Beach station broadcasts to southern Delaware and Marylands Eastern Shore.
During a segment of the morning show focusing on Islamic extremism, Smith said: Muslims do not stand up for America and they dont, they didnt stand up for America during 9/11, they didnt stand up for America during Fort Hood, theyve never stood out and said, This has to stop I havent heard one Muslim in this country do that.
As far as Im concerned, not every Muslim is guilty, but every Muslim is suspect, he continued.
A caller challenged him by citing the example of Kareem Khan, a 28-year-old Muslim from New Jersey who enlisted in the U.S. Army after 9/11 and died in combat in Iraq in 2007.
He died for his country, the caller, who wasnt asked for his name in the broadcast, said.
Thats great, but not enough Muslims have done that, sir, Smith responded.
Cutting through some crosstalk as Smith and the caller yelled at each other, the caller said simply, bigot.
Im a bigot? You know what, youre a bigot, Smith replied angrily. Oh, youre a jackass. You know what? Youre done. That jackass.
Although Smith freely discussed the episode when asked about it by phone Friday, the station has not noted on-air his absence from the airwaves. Mike and Jake in the Morning became Mike Bradley in the Morning, overnight. The stations manager, Walt Palmer, confirmed Smiths last day with the station was Feb. 20, although he declined to discuss why.
Smith, 57, told The News Journal the stations ownership was displeased with how he handled the call and told him hed have to treat such callers differently in the future. When Smith said he wouldnt, he said he was canned.
I thought I had the right to defend myself. He called me a racist; Im not a racist, Smith said Friday.
Ibrahim Hooper, a spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, said Friday hes nearly lost count of how many times his own group, along with others, has condemned and castigated violent acts by Islamic extremists.
Every Muslim group in America, and many of those I know of around the world I mean, our own organization has issued dozens of condemnations of terrorism, and ISIS, and the Charlie Hebdo attacks, Hooper said. We get that question every time we go on talk radio.
Smith, hired by WGMD in 2013, said he believes the stations management treated him well, and said ownership had a right to fire him if it wanted to.
Its part of the business, he said. Their names on the license, and I respect that.
I believe in the maxim, Always treat the muslim as if it is loaded. It just might be!
Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Qur'an should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on earth-- Omar Ahmed, Chairman of the Board of CAIR

Walt Palmer, a name to remember when the SHTF.
“Smith, 57, told The News Journal the stations ownership was displeased with how he handled the call and told him hed have to treat such callers differently in the future. When Smith said he wouldnt, he said he was canned.”
What kind of nation have we become where an employee gets fired for refusing to follow directives from their employer?
The kind that if a station manager in 1944 said you may not speak disrespectfully about Nazis, they would have been the ones in trouble.
Im not buying what your selling that the station is in the right here. They are doing the classic Marx, selling the rope that will be used to hang them with.
I never did say I agree with station management, simply expressing my belief that business owners should be able to control who works for them.
That’s supporting the station owner. The sane point of view here is that the station owner is a traitor. Your position is effectively standing with the station owner, as he advances Islam.
Are there any other business owners who you would like to control and tell what to do?
Lost count.....what'd he do, lose the fingers on one of his hands???? PATHETIC
“As far as Im concerned, not every Muslim is guilty, but every Muslim is suspect”
I feel the same way about Primitive Baptists.
Identify the ownership of the station. Its a company called
“Resort Broadcasting LLC”....
Isn’t the government already doing that with Bakers, Florists, Churches and Innkeepers?
except muslims will cut your head off, Howdy.
No, he died for the benefits he had enjoyed all his life in a Free Society.
No true muslim can acknowledges any country other than the Umma.
We do thank him for his dedication to the truth and his subconscious struggle against the brutality and contradictions in mainstream islam.
Sure, any and all muslims that act like koranimals. No exceptions.
