Hillary Clinton has co-authored a New York Times op-ed with former GOP Senator Bill Frist of Tennessee, and in doing so has given us a preview of what her poll-tested, K Street-approved presidency would be like.
The op-ed urges Congress to reauthorize the Childrens Health Insurance Program (CHIP), a program supported a majority of U.S. governors and a host of healthcare lobbyists and special interest groups. It is about as politically safe a position an aspiring candidate can take, especially for one as cautious as Clinton, who still refuses to take a position on the Keystone XL pipeline.
Its also an example of Hillarys bravery and willingness to embrace bipartisanship. Sort of. Frist, a former Senate majority leader, is the perfect Republican for Hillary to team up with. He is firmly entrenched in the establishment K Street wing of the party, so much so that he even said he would have voted for Obamacare. Interestingly, he sits on the boards of a number of healthcare-related companies that came out quite well under Obamacare. ========================================================= Save the Childrens Insurance Hillary Clinton and Bill Frist on Health Care for Americas Kids By HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON and BILL FRISTFEB. 12, 2015

yawn , Zzzzzzzz
Someday soon, these people will realize the nation is broke.
Chapter 69, my Husband Bill on pedophile island.
I wouldn’t count on it. These idiots sporting “Ready for Hillary” stickers might as well be promoting a third term for BO.
You know better not to drink before getting on the internet.
PIASC!!
Used toilet paper contains the same opinion of a Hellary presidency.
Hillary’s going for it, no ifs ands or buts. Where has she been hiding for months now without those $250,000 speaking engagements?
Hillary’s tentacles stretch everywhere & Elizabeth Warren has already found a horse head in her bed.
The Flying Buttress may look like death warmed over, but she’s stone cold determined to win. And where is our future First Hubby these days?
But before anyone thinks Preezy Hilly is inevitable, first do this: close your eyes & imagine a one-on-one debate between Hillary and Ted Cruz, during which she slowly discovers that her flesh is being nibbled off by a man who need not even raise his voice.
“Where has she been hiding for months now....?”
It took her three months to write this op-ed. While I wouldn’t mind a president that takes this long to come up with one lousy idea when it comes to suggesting new taxes, new welafare things, etc. - it probably wouldn’t be the best during a crisis. Which we have already seen that hillary handles poorly.
It all depends on who the debate moderators are, and the questions they ask. Don't forget, the GOP has a long history of agreeing to squishy, leftist moderators.
Ted Cruz won’t make the mistake both Bushes & Romney made (`moderators are fair & balanced’). He knows the long knives will be out & he’ll come prepared.
George Snufflelopagus or Candyface Crowley won’t get to play their sneaky tricks this time.
“Senator Cruz, what are your beliefs about evolution”?
“Candy, with all due respect, what the hell does that have to do with me being president and commander-in-chief?”
“And furthermore Candy, why don’t you ask Hillary the same question?”
Yep. It is a long gamble that 5% or so of the electorate who are dumb enough to consider voting for Hillary in the first place will consider switching, but it is really the only hope we have at this writing.
“See, see you mean-old right-wing FReepers! A REPUBLICAN also wrote this with Hillary, so she can’t be all that bad!”
That old saggy flesh needed a long time to recover from all that snipping and stitching and botoxing it has recently been subjected to.
Rumor has it Hil & Chels are getting the 2 for 1 special at Manhattan’s best.
Yes, save the “chillrin” all while alowing them to be murdered in the womb. Democrats are so freaking hypocritical.
“former GOP Senator Bill Frist of Tennessee”
If ever there was a worthless piece of cheese, Frist was it.
That he would partner up with the Hildebeast to support more government is not at all surprising. And remembering he was the Republican Senate majority leader shows what a sorry state that party has been in for a long while.
