President Obamas call for a $95 billion energy tax hike would thwart the very goals expressed in his State of the Union address, American Petroleum Institute (API) Pres. Jack Gerard said today.
Americas oil and natural gas renaïssance has done everything on the presidents State of the Union wish list for the middle class, Gerard said, responding to Obamas proposed budget.
Opposition to President Obamas proposals is strong and bipartisan. The presidents annual call to raise taxes on U.S. oil and natural gas development would hurt job creation, infrastructure investment, the federal deficit, seniors on fixed incomes and domestic manufacturing.
Tax increases would jeopardize Americas competitiveness as it would discourage future investment and lead to higher prices at the pump, he warns.

Obama’s goals are the downfall of America as we know it. As he has said, he wants to fundamentally change America. He doesn’t like America. We have an enemy in the WH. Forget about the SOTU rhetoric. That is a means to an end. Lies and deceit are useful tools to achieving that end.

Actually, the first mistake that this person made was listening to the speech.
Geez, enough already, just come out and say you want all of everyone’s money already.

Which is what he wants.
No corporation pays taxes. The taxes are part of the cost of goods and the consumer pays for this. A tax on a corporation is a tax on the tax payers.
