Theres no denying it. Clint Eastwoods American Sniper has struck a chord with the American people, and did so by tapping into the deepest civic values we have as Americans duty, honor, fidelity, courage, love for country and a love for others.
However, no war movie can live on the big screen without a spew of liberal backlash, and this film is no different. Criticism has come quickly from Michael Moore, Seth Rogen, former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean and other Hollywood leftists.
Thankfully, some things speak louder than cowardly tweetslike the more than $200 million in ticket sales the movie has raked in just one week. In fact, the new war film featuring Bradley Cooper as well-known Navy SEAL sniper, Chris Kyle, is on pace to become the top-grossing war film of all time.
As much as the left would like you to believe it, Chris Kyle was not a bloodthirsty warmonger; he was a noble warrior who fought to defend his fellow troops, watched over the lives of his brothers, and advanced the cause of (eventual) peace. This is where the true success of American Sniper comes to light.

The more I see liberal heads explode, the better.
I'm going to see the movie again this weekend with my adult son, can't wait.
I have not seen it and will not until it is on dvd or blu ray.
I have reached the point where I will cheer every time a Muslim gets shot. That is with the knowledge that the depictions will show ones who should be shot.
You’ll be doing a lot of cheering but maybe not when Kyle has to make the gut wrenching decision to shoot a child. The fact that this is so wrenching for him highlights the differences in our culture and values vs that in which mothers and fathers send their kids out to die as “ martyrs”. The sad sick realization is that all our effort blood sweat tears and deaths will never change this mindset., this dysfunctional ideology and the perfect culture it found to permeate
But yah, this is one movie where the bad guys are not falsely portrayed by some PC director as right wing amishers
When the movie was shown in baghada this week, the crows was shouting “He has an IED! SHOOT HIM! What are you waiting for!”

Shows the stark difference between living with the fear, and living with the propaganda, doesn’t it.
Sorry for the horrible spelling...
iPad-it is...
“I have reached the point where I will cheer every time a Muslim gets shot.”
I had the same mentality since 9/11.
>Youll be doing a lot of cheering but maybe not when Kyle has to make the gut wrenching decision to shoot a child.<
.
When a child picks up a grenade in order to hurt someone, he ain’t a child no moh.
What if that child were to give that grenade to your child? Would you still look at him as a “child”.
> I have reached the point where I will cheer every time a Muslim gets shot. That is with the knowledge that the depictions will show ones who should be shot.
Everyone of them were trying to kill us first as far as I can recall. Even the kid who was trying to throw a grenade at the soldiers.
Depends on what your definition of “child” is.
In OprahWorld USA, everyone except women over 35 are “children”.
Marxists think they are equally bad and many prefer the Butcher to Kyle.
Pray America is waking
Went yesterday, my theater usually has about 4 people in it at the Wednesday early bird matinee. Yesterday, it was packed full...and when the credits came up, the audience applauded. Let them criticize, the money coming in from this movie says it all. Great movie.
I wasn’t criticizing or second guessing Kyle’s action, Only commenting on what the effect on him showed about the clash of our western values, and how other cultures devalue human life.
The Vietnamese also used children as human bombs and the Iranians used waves of adolescents and children as human minesweepers in the war with Iraq. We (meaning the Marxists now running our govt and entertainment industry) politely forget what the Japanese at war did to the Chinese and to anyone else who wasn’t Japanese, what the Chinese and North Koreans did and are doing to their own people, what Iraqi Saddam did to his people, what the Russian leaders did to their people, what the Germans did etc etc etc
and yeah, when a mother or father hands a grenade or an artillery shell to a child and tells him to go throw it at our troops, he is still a child, but also a deadly threat that must be stopped.
