Police are only making arrests when they have to and are letting a number of minor crimes go. Those that laughed at the broken windows theory of crime are now panicking
The New York Post obtained policing statistics for the week following the targeted cold blooded murders of NYPD officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjin Liu on December 20. They then compared these stats to the relevant time period the year before.
Citations for traffic offences dropped 94% during the week. In the 87th precinct where Ramos and Liu worked, only one citation was issued all week. Summons for minor offences such as urinating or drinking in public places were also down 94%, while parking tickets issued were 92% of the number issued in the same week in 2013.
More disturbing, the number of drug arrests was 84% lower than the number made the year before. Police are only making arrests when they have to and are letting a number of minor crimes go. Those that laughed at the broken windows theory of crime are now panicking.

Democrats never resign in disgrace. They just use the snake defense (as in, “Hey, you knew I was a snake when you elected me.”).
As the cop/fireman/teachers/nurses/city worker unions take over the cities and control so much of a state’s vote and election results and budgetary looting, they already have great influence on who our mayors will be, and what their politics will be.
He’ll get Elected 3 or 4 more times , LOL or maybe he’ll take the job for life
I can make DeBlahBlah resign tomorrow.
The PBA and Police Union should announce that they will no longer support a Democrat for office. That goes viral across the country in every municipal union and the rats would panic.
How many people know that Eric Garner the cigarette seller who died of a heart attack while being arrest had THIRTY prior arrests?
Sure, about the same time that the rest of the left says that they won't support democrats for office.
Cops should detain the minor law breakers, transport them to Blaio’s neighborhood, and release them.
A whole lot of people know.
He was a habitual cigarette seller.
Prior illegal cigarette sales have not made the American people think that the response was proportional to the crime.
They knew he had medical problems. They sent a large detail to bring him in...but no medical personnel or ambulance.
There is a concept called “judgment”.
Some of the populace still wants people in authority to possess and exercise this trait.
“Democrats never resign in disgrace.”
Actually, many do. Anthony Weiner, better known as Carlos Danger. Blagojevitch, for trying to sell a Senate seat, and Rep. Torricelli for taking kickbacks/bribes. Both went to prison.
Has anyone dared to publicize the home address of Eric Garner’s daughter? The daughter who ‘accidently-on-purpose’
posted the home address of an arresting officer who took her father down? This could still happen.
>>Actually, many do. Anthony Weiner, better known as Carlos Danger. Blagojevitch, for trying to sell a Senate seat, and Rep. Torricelli for taking kickbacks/bribes. Both went to prison.
That’s only one. Two of them were convicted of crimes and went to prison. They had to resign.
Now, lets count the Republicans who resigned in disgrace after committing no crimes.
Communists Democrats never resign. The NYC structure is so saturated with communists that there will be no pressure on him. He doesn’t give a crap about the police and never did. New Yorkers should be proud that they screwed their city and crime will go up.
You should read the article I posted.
They couldn’t make it over that new, 30k fence, he recently had erected at taxpayers expense.
DeBlosio should not resign, as that would represent a police coup.
Commies never resign or give up office if they can help it.
He is a democrat and has no character, but I repeat myself.
The next people in line are every bit as radical and dangerous.
