Once upon a time, I would have dismissed this report as the ravings of a fascist government. Now, unfortunately, this type of report has become totally believable. According to Iranian television, a US Naval destroyer fled the area of the Sea of Oman where Iran was conducting a naval drill after being 'warned' to leave.

So this really did happen? We were ‘ordered’ by these terrorist enablers to ‘get the hell outta their territory’ and we meekly complied? Oh..Oh..This is most un-good, to misuse a word.

All the other countries in this region are closely watching and learning. They know the next president, even a demo president is most likely to be made of stronger stuff.
So if they have any special plans, those plans better be attempted soon, like before Obola slinks away from office.

Oh how far things have fallen. Recall when Quadafi “ordered” Regan to stay out of the Gulf of Sidra with his famous line of death comment. He did not know whose line of death he was citing though.

I am certain that the Captain of the US Destroyer had enough common sense to know there was potential for one of Iran’s “weapons” control systems to fail with the possibility of damage or worse to his vessel and crew. Our Navy ship Captains are not cowards. There is another side to the story than what was originally offered.

Apparently, U.S. troops fighting in Iraq are leaving the neighborhood when ISIS is nearby, so this report is entirely believable. Obama wants to give the appearance of doing something over there, but he doesn't actually want U.S. troops harming his pals in ISIS and Iran.

One possible explanation: if the Iranians claimed they were going to be conducting a live fire drill as part of their exercises... Well, you don't want to be around to be mistaken for the target.

Of course departing to a safe standoff distance to observe the live fire exercise is one thing, fleeing is another. I wouldn't be surprised at rag-head TV characterizing it in a most unflattering light.
