This seems to be correct or at least correlative but it doesn’t explain Rome.

I can’t remember who the participants were, but the story goes that during a debate, an atheist was asked by a Christian apologist this question:

If it was late at night in the inner city, would you rather confront a group of young men from a gang, or a group of young men coming home from a Bible study.

The atheist chose the latter.

Merely Libtards attempting to avoid both observable reality and all IQ test results. Races have different IQ scores.

Little IQ is needed to become an acceptable member of a society. Acculturation is essential and acculturation is best done by a married mother and father assuming both parents are themselves acculturated.

The mysticism and social influences of Confucius, Buddha, Brahman, and whatnot also fostered notable developments in civilization and culture in the East,

That mysticism created a populace which followed the rules and diktats of their leaders unquestioningly and allowed the leaders several times to completely burn down any achievements produced before them. Those leaders, specifically Chinese, wanted history to start with them and came very close several times to achieving that goal.
But there were Indian and Mongolian leaders who tried the same thing with notable results of collapsing civilizations all around them.

Using Christ as the touchstone can be made to look apropos for many ills. His involvement still has one of two effects: Make that which touches upon Him better; or make the differences between Him and that which He is compared to more glaring.

I had a pastor who thought AA was useless because alcoholism was just a case of mistaken identity - if drunks would only realize that God is their Father and Christ is their Savior, they wouldn't need anything else. That doesn't explain that i have seen priest/nuns/pastors, etc., at meetings over the decades...

Feeding the spirit is always a viable and desirable option, but we also need to understand that Human nature is what it is and that it also needs to be addressed at the Human level too.

“If Jesus Christ really is the only true way, as New Testament scripture says, then it would appear that whichever race or races happened to have carried the Gospel the most would largely wind up with a special responsibility and position, wouldn’t it?”

I completely disagree. No one has special authority in any way.

Responsibility = Authority. Can’t have one without the other.

People have the responsibility to God, no to or over anyone else.

Paul said that God ordained the limits of the nations and their positions, so as to best permit them to hear the gospel.

Thus those nations which had the gospel, were permitted to have extensive influence in the world—and not for their own benefit, but for the benefit of the rest of the world.

(There was nothing otherwise about a cluster of islands off Europe, devoid of any resources except coal, to suggest that they would be able to absorb India, half of Africa, Australia, Pacific Islands, etc. etc. The idea would be absurd were it included in a gaming option.)

But there are millions of Africans who are Christians. Ethiopia has been Christian for nearly 2000 years, longer than most of Europe. And we see little cultural advancement. Central America has been Christian for 500 years.

Liberal Democrats promise blacks and other minorities free stuff to control them, and principally get their vote. This breeds what I call “black privilege”, the notion that the laws do not apply to them, that lawless black behavior should be tolerated—theft, ignoring traffic laws, looting, rioting, mayhem. And when their lawlessness leads to confrontation with armed white citizens/police, it’s claimed to be the fault of the resister, not the aggressor.

The race card exists to promote outdated notions that haven’t been in effect in my lifetime, but do serve to “enslave” a class and keep them beholden to their “masters”.

If race war is their goal, then they have not thought the problem through.

Conservative British art historian Lord Kenneth Clark lays out a very similar case for the advances of western culture in this book and BBC series from 45 years ago...

While he lays out the case through the lens of art history rather than theology, his commentary throughout the series on the influence of Christianity is unmistakable. The whole series is available on YouTube for those interested...

How about no ability to delay gratification?

Stossel had a show on last week where kids where given a marshmallow and told if they don’t eat it, they will be given another in a little while. Only about a third could do it. The study tracked these people later in life. Guess who the most successful and happy were? It wasn’t based on race, but that would be a great study. It is teachable, but starting young is important.

Imagine what a country like Nigeria could do if everyone there was a Christian.

It would be the shining star of Africa.

As you have it today, the Islamists kidnap 300 school girls for sex slaves for the soldiers whose mission it is to kill every last Christian in the country.

A more determining factor is “The Bell Curve “ It pretty much explains everything regarding the races.

Blacks have mean IQs of 85 per many studies. Affirmative action or religion can offset that.
