It also gives us evidence from the smaller point that Obamacare was shoved down the throats of the American people like we're a bunch of obstinate children who don't know the medicine is good for them.
It was on Fox News this morning, so I doubt the cover up is working.
How does chief roberts sleep at night? traitor
Oh, and by the way, MIT needs to be strongly pinged about employing a “disreputable” professor that “tarnishes” their reputation. Even though they likely hired him because he was disreputable, and they don’t particularly care about their reputation.
Gruber and his masters all belong in prison.
Snopes, Factcheck or any other Dem-backed subversion group notwithstanding, the time and place of the words spoken is immaterial. The mere existence of the words, from whom they were spoken IN or OUT of CONTEXT are damning. They are proof of intentional deceit and collusion.
And this ObamaCare architect’s statements should be submitted to the Supreme Court that ObamaCare costs were intentionally not defined as taxes as Justice Roberts maintained.
His words, plus all the other arbitrary and intentional administration manipulations of legal requirements, are more than enough to invalidate the law - EVERY WORD OF IT.
This bill was written in a tortured way to make sure (the Congressional Budget Office) did not score the mandate as taxes. If CBO scored the mandate as taxes, the bill dies. OK? So its written to do that. In terms of risk-rated subsidies, if you had a law which said healthy people are going to pay in you made explicit that healthy people pay in and sick people get money it would not have passed. Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage. And basically, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically, that was really, really critical to getting the thing to pass. Look, I wish (health economist) Mark (Pauly) was right (that) we could make it all transparent, but Id rather have this law than not.
Obamacare architecht Jonathan Gruber
Hell is more like it.
Hopefully that briefcase full of cash he got from Soros starts haunting his dreams. I'd love for him to go mad.
I can’t tell everyone here how mad I was listening to then watching this video. This little “Imp” is a prime example of the infestation of our lives by non elected ideologues. Lois Lerner is another prime example, but there are others within our schools and universities...on radio and tv and in other places of influence.
This one takes the cake....AND NOT ONE... NOT ONE DEMOCRAT... NOT EVEN HILLARY CLINTON? NO ONE TO STAND UP FOR THE PEOPLE....NO GUTS?
Anyone actually believe that the people of this country are NOT going to rise up against this? Never again should we elect people who betray, lie, mislead or corrupt us.
Unlike Pelosi, Reid and most other s, he was speaking the truth here
I think most of us knew this “health Care??” fiasco was socialistic medicine from the get go.
Yeah. He slipped up.
To all of you FReepers who kept posting that photo of Romney as a sleazy used car salesman, my apologies. I get it.
This guy designed Romneycare too. Apparently Mitt agreed with the scam.
I would say the Chief Justice Roberts decision has become an exploding cigar for the Democrats and President Obama that is largely responsible for last Tuesday's events.
The American people are not the stupid ones. It was the Bart Stup(id)pak and other members of the Democrat party who were in the majority and KNEW what was about to happen and did not do anything about it.
Justice Roberts turned it into a tax.Congress writes tax laws.Congress can change tax laws. Unless the new congress thinks we are to stupid also.
It pretty much is what it is, most people are going to want to see the clip, which in true internet fashion is all over the place. When they do the can look at the polls that have tracked the opinion of the American people on this even if they don’t remember the high-handed treatment by the House under majority leader Pelosi and the subsequent electoral wipe out (which they will remember I think). This MIT smarty-pants owes everyone an apology. He’s casting aspersions on us, after having made a bad call professionally.
Quit thinking at “kid’s toy” level, what you fail to recognize is that “that” Roberts decision opened the door for the poison pill known as the Origination Clause.
