Wow. Hope it’s true. The only thing is that ISIS will just pick a new caliph that is just as bad or worse.
There are 13 million other El Baghdadi’s ready to take his place. That is only 1% of all Muslims in the world.
The new leader will have access to much power and funds which will be tempting for all the warlords of ISIS. If Al-Baghdadi is truly dead the ensueing infighting over his power could seriously weaken the organization. This is all best case scenario stuff but it is the reason the guy is/was targeted.
It’s about time we started getting #1 instead of purported #2’s all the time.
“.....ISIS will just pick a new caliph....”
Well okay, let them pick one, and another and another... We have more smart bombs, don’t we? Well, as they sang during WWII...”-Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!”

I'm Christian. Still, if the story is true, I pray that the Holy Trinity has mercy on his soul.
The Koran says over and over that the Holy Trinity does not exist, and it says that anyone who believes in the Trinity is automatically condemned to hell.
I think he is in for a shocking surprise on the other side: He probably believes that the Prophet Mohammad will be waiting at heaven's gate in all his glory to greet him into paradise.
The shocking surprise: Mohammad won't be there. Instead, Jesus, the second person of the Trinity, and. St. Paul, whom Muslims hate and call a liar over and over, will be standing at heaven's gate to tell him the bad news: Mohammad won't ever be greeting Muslims at heaven's gate, because Mohammad made up the story that the angel Gabriel appeared to him.
Again, may God have mercy on him and all Muslims. They will all need God's mercy if they have any chance of entering paradise. Sorry, but there won't be any 72 virgins waiting for him.
