Apparently, the usual sober and fraught political commentary that often accompanies episodes of physical violence directed toward women disappears when the subject of that violence is a Palin.
The political press had a hearty chuckle at the expense of the Palins when it first broke that the former first family of Alaska was involved in an alcohol-fueled brawl. The thrilla in Wasilla, some called it. One might, however, have expected the laughter to die down after local police released audio of Bristol Palin who described through hysterical tears how she had been assaulted, dragged through the grass, and robbed. It did not.
[E]very time you see John McCain on television, remember that this is what he intended to bring within a heart beat of the presidency, wrote a pathologically obsessed Andrew Sullivan in reaction to the audio which purports to reveal a physical assault. This is the mans judgment. As he lectures us about the need for more wars, and the Beltway media kowtows to his authority, remember that.
National Reviews Charles C. W. Cooke noted that Sullivan has heaped far less scorn on the sitting vice president whose son was recently revealed to have engaged in illegal activities which resulted in his discharge from the Navy activities for which he is unlikely to face so much as an interview with the police. Hows that for inequality?
But Cooke focuses primarily on an even stronger point, one which was first observed by The Daily Callers Matt Lewis: Where are the feminists rending garments over the callous way in which a physical assault on a woman by a man is being portrayed in the press?
Anyone who is concerned about a war on women but not disturbed by this report is clearly biased, Lewis wrote....

The hatred from the MSM “cool kids” toward the Palins is unbelievable. And they seem not to be able to help themselves. They know it looks bad, but they don’t care.
About 98% of the media are scum of the earth. Maybe half of that 98% are the scum of the scum.
I actually hate the media. I absolutely hate them.
At the heart of it is the seething hatred the left has for anyone and anything even slightly conservative.
Really sickening.
So we got the judgement of Barack Obama in the form of Joe Biden a heartbeat away. Now THAT is a big effin’ deal.
I also have a strong dislike for the media .`
I don’t watch them and I don’t listen to them.
I get all my news from FR-—I figure if it doesn’t show up here, it’s not very important-—and here, you can blow off steam about something you didn’t like or that you know to be false.
Take comfort in this quote from Yuri Bezmenov’s interview.
” For example, your leftists in [the] United States; all these professors and all these beautiful civil rights defenders. They are instrumental in the process of the subversion; only to destabilize a nation. When the job is completed, they are not needed anymore. They know too much. Some of them, when they get disillusioned - when they see that Marxist-Leninist come to power. Obviously they get offended; they think that THEY will come to power. That will never happen, of course; they will be lined up against the wall and shot.”
Awesome summation.
I don't care what they think. I have a ton of seething hatred for libtards too, so that makes us all even.
And I’m sick of them getting away with this crap and later “apologizing.” They meant it when they said it and only when this sl** received backlash for her callousness, did she offer an apology. I’ll bet she wasn’t sorry - she got her chuckles. Now, I have to ask - just who is waging war on women in this country? I can only revert back to what the Bible says - “ye shall reap what you sow.” So, if this woman who made fun of Bristol gets attacked - I’ll say - amen - God’s word is true.
you know I think there are increasingly millions like you! At some point this is going to become a REAL problem for journalists and stockholders of these media giants!
It isn’t just Republicans or Conservatives. It’s anyone who doesn’t toe the line. There is a brewing culture war coming with the Left. The Marxist Academics are getting their claws on every sector of media and pushing out and attacking anyone who doesn’t following their extremist gender and race politics. It’s happening in video game culture right now and the most ridiculous part is that they are blaming the political right despite it being nowhere outside of Breitbard London. The Left is attacking, harassing, and trying to crush their own young voter base many of whom are very socially liberal. It’s taking place online, in forums, twitter, and YouTube.Take a look at how the Left treats anyone who supports #gamergate, a movement against journalist corruption who are being painted as misogynists and abusers of women.
Anyone interested should check out Sargon of Akkad on YouTube and listen to his google streams where the links between Marxist academia and media are exposed. Internet Aristocrat is another person to check out. The extreme left are working endlessly to corrupt and control digital media under the guise of feminism and social justice. Even peer review is under assault so bias studies can be put out as legitimate fact. The false notion of a campus rape culture is a perfect example. The nutter who invented it got to the Whitehouse.
Politics in a digital age is nasty and the right is nearly a decade behind. A few blogs and AM radio aren’t enough to get your message out when everything is moving to digital formats. You can’t count on people simply getting older and wiser when every main stream format is constantly attacking you using social manipulation.
Benevolent sexism and discrimination is a real phenomena. It has been proven in studies that people who commit what would normally be a sexist or racist act in the name of something noble are seen as more favorable than someone who just does it. This is why slurs against Conservative Blacks are given a pass as does the attacks on the Palins.
I get all my news from FR
I get most of mine from FR. I listen to certain talk radio shows when I get the chance (Michael Berry, Walton & Johnson, Michael Savage). I wish I could listen at work. I can’t remember the last time I had CNN on in my house. I’ll put Megyn Kelly on from time to time but usually have it muted most of the time.
