VIDEO: Judge Judy has zero tolerance for moocher used to Obama era mentality
Right Wing News ^ | 10/19/14 | Rachel Alexander

This video is worth watching to see how Judge Judy quickly decimates a woman who thinks she’s entitled to other people’s money. She thinks she can borrow $2,000 from a friend and never pay it back. She uses every excuse in the book, claiming because her friend and her husband “have money” (in her opinion), she shouldn’t have to pay it back. Unlike her friend – who also has children – she doesn’t work. She then uses her kids – she has five, her choice – to then justify not repaying her friend, calling her kids her job! This is what Obama has created: thousands, if not millions, of Americans who think they are entitled to take money from others and not pay them back because they choose not to work. Fortunately, there are still people with common sense like Judge Judy who are willing to take on the entitlement mentality.

Video at link. Honey, a little word of advice, if you can't feed them, don't breed them. Is this baby making loafer related to one of Babs Streisand's boyfriends, big Dick GEBhardt? The one Babs tried to seduce into preventing the eevil republicans from getting involved in Iraq?

No thanks. Not watching 10 seconds of that wretched hag.

Judy is annoying, but in this particular case, she’s right.

The way we blame everything on Obama sounds like the Libs blaming everything on Bush. This particular problem started with LBJ and the ‘Great Society”.

Anyone who’s watched Judge Judy knows that leeches like this are common in her TV courtroom.

No, he didn't. He benefits from it, he encourages it, but he didn't create it. It's been here for decades.

Just about every “case” resolves down to something along the lines of this one.

I know people exactly like that. Some of them are, I am ashamed to say, family members.

That is their exact reasoning. If you have money, you can afford to pick up the tab at a restaurant (every time), lend them money, give them things, etc etc.

I’ve in times past given them money for food or given them food from my pantry when they were in dire straights just so the kids wouldn’t go hungry, but I would never ‘loan’ them money because I know it would never be pad back.

This is their mindset. Everyone who has anything more than them owes them something. They steal from work and brag about it. For this reason I don’t like to have them in my house because I figure they would steal from me and justify it the same way (that I have too much and they have too little).

PS I am not wealthy but comfortable. It doesn’t matter, if you only have one dime more than they do then you can “afford it” to give it to them.

They do not even realize how repulsive they are. It’s disgusting.

Her demeanor can certainly be off-putting but I like how she cuts to the chase.

Old Ben had the right idea. I come from a family that didn’t believe in borrowing. My Dad allowed Mom to have a few department store charges (in those days only the husband could open a charge account) only when Mom solemnly promised to pay the bills the day they arrived (and she did).

I’ve allowed myself some credit, but when I could no longer work, I ditched almost all of my credit cards and I don’t borrow for anything.

I enjoy Judge Judy.

She often leads the defendant to a comfortable spot, and then allows the defendant to impale themselves, and it’s always a lovely sight.

I’m just sorry the Judge Judy show pays the claim.

Yup, it was a good dressing down. That being said, I question the motives of anyone who goes on these shows. They want a free trip to NY (or CA) and their 15 minutes of fame so badly, they don’t care if they make utter fools of themselves.

Wouldn’t surprise me if 90+% of these cases are made up just to get on TV.

True, but he has taken it to new lows. He has also taken the shame out of being on food stamps or even an illegal. Anyone who didn’t see this coming was either lying, a fool or in denial.

History will look back and determine that America surrendered to Socialism on the date he was elected.

I’ve allowed myself some credit, but when I could no longer work, I ditched almost all of my credit cards and I don’t borrow for anything.

Sounds great but there is a problem with that strategy, if you never borrow you will never establish a "credit history". If you really need money (health emergency, car falling apart, fire damage to the kitchen, &c, &c) you'll find it hard to find lenders who will trust you to pay it back on time.

A better strategy is to limit yourself to one or two credit cards. Use them regularly for everyday things (gas for the car, groceries, things that you need and can afford). When the statement arrives, pay the entire balance before the 'due date' and you will not have to pay any interest.

If you are able, double up on your mortgage payments, the first payment includes interest, the second all goes toward reducing the principle. (cuts a 30 year mortgage to way less than 15 years)

If you follow through with this strategy you will establish a credit history with a "triple score" in the 800 range and you will have preferential treatment from financial people (bankers, loan officers, &c) who will now look at you as a favored customer.

Regards,
GtG

PS I have followed this plan since I was 18 and now I can borrow at 1% under prime rate if I want to buy a new car.

Every person who blames food stamp mentality on a particular race or ethnicity NEEDS to see this video, for some level-setting. In my experience, there are PLENTY of white people like this.

Thanks for the advice. I still maintain some credit, but I had to get rid of most of it when I couldn't work any longer. Apparently, it hasn't affected my credit score too much (I check every week or so).

As I said, Dad didn't believe in credit — paid for everything by cash or maybe a cashiers check or money order. However, when I had my bathroom remodeled last year and wanted to just pay the bill with my savings, I couldn't do it. The remodeler kept trying to get me to finance and I refused. They thought I was nuts. Finally, we agreed that I would get this no interest VISA card through the company's lender. The job was charged to the credit card and when the bill came in (after the job was done to my satisfaction), I paid it. Companies like that can't comprehend anyone not financing a big ticket purchase.

By the way, I've since cut up that VISA card and just use the one I have.
