It is nice to see that more people are noticing the weird threats against peaceful people generated at the Moms Demand Action facebook page.
Charles C. W. Cooke writes about it at National Review.com. I would have been happy to have him use the photograph, with attribution, but perhaps, because the MDA page did not give attribution, he never contacted me.
He does a good job of covering the issue. I would have been happy to give him more background. From nationalreview.com:
Reacting to a photograph of a man standing at a checkout with a handgun holstered upon his hip, mom-who-demands-action Joyce Ward asks, Why werent the police called immediately? And why, Ward continues, wasnt he shot by the police for having a weapon? Fellow poster Lisa McLogan Shaheen has a similar inquiry, wondering, Why hasnt someone called 911 so the cops can gun him down? Others go a little further, proposing that they might help their cause along if they were actively to bring about an altercation. Every time I see someone with a gun in a store I will call 911, Jennifer Decker vows, theyll get tired of that right quick!!! Even that plan is too limited for Ann Marie. Just call the police every time you see someone with one, she counsels, the police will get sick of it eventually or have a run in with one of these clowns and then things will change.I am the person in the checkout that they are discussing, so the threats are of more than academic interest to me. If you wish to read the original story, it is at this link. To understand why the people making these threats are doing so, I have found this article by Sarah Thompson, M.D. to be informative. For those of you who do not wish to read the whole article, she discusses projection, denial, reaction formation, and rage.
You got to love that ditzy, braindead woman who said she should carry a gun to shoot anyone she sees in Kroger’s who is carrying a gun because she can’t tell if they are “a bad guy” or not. That ho has some serious mental “issues”. She should not be allowed to be around firearms.
For Halloween, I’m going to wait for liberals to walk by and then quietly say “freedom,” and then watch while they piss their pants and fall to the ground in a fit of frothing rage.
Actually its just a window into the liberal mind. They know that they can’t control themselves so they want control of all people.
more specifically, they want to manipulate other people into killing their political opponents by, essentially, screaming fire in a crowded movie theater. Here in Ohio, that’s called inducing panic and it’s a felony if it results in physical harm or monetary damage.
Actually they seem to support “SWATting” in order to get the cops to kill law-abiding gun owners.
The real failure of American education is that people no longer understand our Constitution or Bill of Rights.
Here is from a previous article on the same picture and MDA Facebook page:
Linda Andrew Hunsicker wrote:
“If I see a guy carrying a big gun like this while I’m shoping, I have to assume he’s a bad guy and shoot him. It doesn’t make sense to wait to see if he shoots someone else first. He’s got a gun in Kroger, I feel threatened, so it’s my duty to shoot him first.”

What if he feels threatened by her gun and shoots her first?
And with actual just cause...
Well, Joyce, it might just be because having a weapon is not illegal. Just a thought.
The same person that wants to “shoot you first” probably thinks that Bush and Cheney are war criminals for invading Iraq.
Pro-2nd Amendment groups should shove so many lawsuits up the butts of these disgusting, gun-grabbing, emotional bit*hes that it will make their empty little heads spin like Linda Blair in “The Exorcist.”
They won’t be happy until they get innocent men killed.
It is very likely that they already have:

Eric Scott’s shooting was suspect:

You really have to send a DMCA takedown notice to the Moms site, or your photograph might end up on their fundraising propaganda.
Using Google reverse image search, it is already spreading out across the net. (I had to shorten the link because it is ginormous.) On the plus side, the vast majority of reposts are from pro-gun sites.
Thanks for the information
