The history of the Democrat Party continued .
The Aaron Burr Andrew Jackson connection
Andrew Jackson was an unabashed enemy of American nationalism. To further his presidential ambitions, he cooperated with the dangerous Aaron Burr and his henchman Martin Van Buren; both of whom were doing the bidding of the infamous British secret service agent Jeremy Bentham.
These four men worked for years to undermine the unity of the United States so the Louisiana and Florida Territories and Mexico could be seized by Burr and made a satellite of the British Empire with him as the new nations dictator.
After the shooting of Alexander Hamilton was ruled a murder by a coroners jury, Burr fled to South Carolina, then to Philadelphia. At the City of Brotherly Love, Burr conferred with a Colonel Williamson, who had just escorted the new British ambassador, Anthony Merry, back from London to Washington. Merry then wrote back to the British Foreign Office: I have just received an offer from Mr. Burr to lend his assistance to his majestys government in any matter in which they may think fit to employ him, particularly in endeavoring to effect a separation of the western part of the United States from that which lies between the Atlantic and the mountains, in its whole extent. Colonel Williamson immediately took Burrs proposals to Britains Foreign Secretary Lord Harrowby. [3]
Chapter Two: Democrat Presidents before the Civil War ANDREW JACKSON 1828 to 1836
For many years the Democrat Party has presented itself as the common mans Party. We have heard that the Democrats are for the little guy and always have been since the election of Andrew Jackson...

When we are finally rid of the Democrat party we will have removed tyranny as an institutionalized reality in our national life. Provided, of course, the Republicans do not assume the same mantle.
Please post all of this for those of us behind firewalls.
“Andrew Jackson was an unabashed enemy of American nationalism. “
That is supposed to be a joke, right?
The same General Jackson who defeated the British at New Orleans?
The same President Jackson who threatened to use military force against South Carolina when SC threatened to secede during the Nullification Crisis?
The same Andrew Jackson whose support assured the election of James K Polk, the most expansionist President since Tom Jefferson? Manifest Destiny ring a bell?
Jackson’s involvement with Burr’s schemes is known to have been innocent. He was asked for assistance by Burr but he wasn’t inside the conspiracy of Burr and Gen James Wilksinson, a man he detested.

Hope he was planning to invent air conditioning first.
Agreed. As he famously said about secessionist John Calhoun, “After eight years as President I have only two regrets: that I have not shot Henry Clay or hanged John C. Calhoun.”
As for the Democrat Party though, it has been a cancer on America since its inception. A party that has used race to stay in power. If any organization in America owes reparations to blacks, its the Democratic Party.
Interesting, perhaps, but I don’t think conservative Republicans will get much traction in the 2014 or 2016 elections by talking about the “scheming and treachery of Aaron Burr.”

We spoke on-air a few weeks ago about another national mistake, the 17th Amendment.
I trust you will post the rest of your Burr/Jackson history on Sunday, for the story so far goes way against the grain of what most Freepers have learned or assume.
“Hope he was planning to invent air conditioning first. “
You know we tend to think that the climate had to be the same in early 1800s but someone writing about the settlement of Texas made a convincing case that it wasn’t.
1816 was “the year without a summer” and it was also at the tale end of a longer cooling trend known as the Little Ice Age that ran from 1300 to 1870. So the American South and Mexico were much more comfortable when American adventurers were moving into them than they are today. No Manmade Global Warming involved either.
” As he famously said about secessionist John Calhoun, After eight years as President I have only two regrets: that I have not shot Henry Clay or hanged John C. Calhoun.”
And there is no doubt that he meant it too. Andrew Jackson really would shoot you.
