Liberated Women and the Traditional Family

It’s about generations of young men and women growing up in a society where a father is not an integral part of the family and the price our society pays for that

My generation, born in the late 1930s and the 1940s, has witnessed a dramatic change in the role and the rights of women in America. A significant result of the women’s liberation movement is a change in the role of traditional marriage that was reported in early September.

“If you count a generation as spanning 20 years,” wrote Terence P. Jeffery, an editor of CNSnews.com, “then approximately 36 percent of the American generation born from 1993 through 2012—which has begun turning 21 this year and will continue turning 21 through 2033—were born to unmarried mothers.”

The western way of life began its death spiral when shame was removed.

Real, intact families are the basic building blocks of society. Destroy that and the rest collapses. That has been largely destroyed. Even in families that are together. Children often rule the roost and few men dare exert any authority, accept responsibility.

We have reached a point in just over a few decades in which the government, through bad economic policies and a myriad number of programs, Medicaid, food stamps, public housing, and others, has produced 109,631,000 people receiving benefits. They represent 35.4 percent of the overall population.

Ask yourself - what allows government to become sugar-daddy and master to 109 million Americans? How is this sustained and increased over 2 generations?

The answer is debt creation, both private and public and printed money. Debt also changes society in many serious but subtle ways. Its the basis of the Progressive plans for Government.

In families in debt up to their hair follicles, children are growing up without a father or a mother integral in their lives.

Daycare and public schools with extended hours (and breakfast, lunch and often dinner provided) and TV and internet acting a kid minders much of the rest of time are raising the children.

Radical feminism is just another facet of the socialist-communist overthrow of the US. Pitting the sexes against one another only benefits the
marxists currently running the show. Divide and conquer your enemy on all fronts is the name of the game, and judging by the current state of the US society, and the capitulation and cowing of any of the opposition to their marxist revolution, I would say that the marxists are winning.

Actually that’s true of all societies before the Industrial Revolution and those today. All members of agrarian and nomadic families WORK, but their work does not keep them separated from their children and is often seasonal giving lots of downtime for holidays and various festivals etc.

If you go to many developing countries, both parents are working but the children are not separated from them for huge portions of the day.

Liberals complain about how income mobility has stopped, poverty has become intergenerational.
The surest way to guarantee the kids will be in poverty is to never marry the father, especially if you end up with different kids by different parents. And women with a high school diploma or less have 50% and higher illegitimacy rates.
The breakdown of the family for those who aren’t college educated / elite is why poverty has become permanent.

Got that right. In the 70’s we had about 5 girls get pregnant in high school (1500 kids). We found out about it via the gossip chain as they just disappeared. There was no in school daycare and there were no “ooh hoe cute” comments.
