An Israeli commander claimed that hundreds of Israeli lives were saved recently when the hand of God stopped a Hamas rocket.
The Israeli commander described the attack on a Hebrew-language website:
A missile was fired from Gaza. Iron Dome precisely calculated [its trajectory]. We know where these missiles are going to land down to a radius of 200 meters. This particular missile was going to hit either the Azrieli Towers, the Kirya (Israels equivalent of the Pentagon) or [a central Tel Aviv railway station]. Hundreds could have died.
We fired the first [interceptor]. It missed. Second [interceptor]. It missed. This is very rare. I was in shock. At this point we had just four seconds until the missile lands. We had already notified emergency services to converge on the target location and had warned of a mass-casualty incident.
Suddenly, Iron Dome (which calculates wind speeds, among other things) shows a major wind coming from the east, a strong wind that sends the missile into the sea. We were all stunned. I stood up and shouted, There is a God!
One Hamas member was asked why they couldnt aim their rockets better and actually hit an Israeli target. He responded: We do aim them, but their God changes their path in mid-air.
The first prime minister of Israel, David Ben Gurion, said this once: In Israel, in order to be a realist, you must believe in miracles.
There are in fact hundreds of stories of the 1967 and 1973 wars Israel engaged that told of Gods intervention.
One news source called Arutz Sheva said it well:
The Jewish nations existence for six millennia is a miracle. There is no single Jewish life without a miracle. Miracle is an essential part of our belief; it is a gem of Jewish folklore. It is a source of our hope in the dark, and it is a gift of our dreams. And we know why because these miracles are true.
What do you think? Were hundreds of Israelis saved from the Hamas rocket by the hand of God?
Funny how the Hamasite says “their God” while the imams try to claim that Allah is the God of Abraham (Ibrahim), Isaac (Ishaq) and Jacob (Yaqoub). At least Hamas admits that Allah is not God.
Note to Muslims: Our God is real...
That annoys me as well when their false moon god is equated with the God of Abraham.
You know? Maybe God should consider a tidal wave covering all of Gaza.... Just sayin.... Just sayin. Then maybe he could relax a little more.
What stuns me is that in the Palestinian media they acknowledge that this type of thing (intervention by God) has been occurring for a long time. They aim their rockets extremely well, only to see them blown off course into a piece of barren dirt or the sea. But they’re hearts are so hardened that even that is not enough to dissuade them. Baffling.
I think you better take note, Mr. President. And make a course adjustment before you get burned.
I don’t doubt it.
>attack on a Hebrew-language website:
now websites are being attacked by rockets??
And theirs is a comic book character......
They used P51 mustangs to tear down communication lines during the war with Egypt and had few casualties during the operation. Probably one of the most insane sorties in aviation history and it worked. God had to be riding shotgun and you had to have some serious faith to pull that one off.
Can you imagine the roar of that Merlin while you lined up, just a hundred or so feet off the ground, ready to tail hook something that might rip you out of the sky to a fiery death. All done in a plane that was considered an antique, a throw back to the bygone days of piston engines.
I heard Glenn Beck telling this story Wednesday morning on the radio. He also told of a big fog that suddenly appeared in another incident that probably saved many IDF lives.
He prefaced both stories by telling of the big fog that appeared which allowed Gen. Washington and his men to cross the Deleware unseen. After they were safe on the other side, the fog lifted and the British boats soon arrived but found the patriots were no longer where they should have been.
In his telling were the Israelis actually North American Indians?
Bat Creek Inscription? Cherokees? Or just plain ordinary nephites and lamanites ? Adena-hopewell mounds? Or maybe Francis Drakes’ plaque?
I think a dust storm happened in the Six Day War as well. IIRC it coincided with a “mirage” that led them to see hundreds of Israeli tanks when there were only a few. (The Israeli’s were surprised when the Egyptians surrendered so quickly).
