Barack Obama has raised the deficit by more than 7 trillion in six years. Let me repeat: Barack Obama has accrued a 7 trillion dollar deficit in only six years of office! And the man still has two years remaining! It’s nearly beyond comprehension and more than the first 42 Presidents combined; nearly twice as much George W. Bush who presided over the economic fallout from 9/11, a war on two fronts, the credit collapse and subsequently was besieged by Democrats as “unpatriotic” and “incompetent” for wasting taxpayer money. So why isn’t anyone being held accountable for such reckless incompetence? Simple, partisan politics now trumps duty, honor, and honesty. If this atrocity occurred during any other era, the perpetrator would have been exposed daily by the press and forced to answer to the people. Likewise, if any reputable CEO sported a similar track record, they would be immediately fired and found managing a bicycle carriage transport in Tijuana. No money, just cerveza!
Unfortunately for anyone possessing common sense, Barry’s progressive policies are the key that keeps our economy drunk. Well that and a complete ignorance of real economics. When there are fewer businesses, thriving ones at that, due to an avalanche of new regulations and costs, the government actually collect less tax revenue; both in terms of company profits and employee salaries. Inflation, triggered by rising fuel expenses and the reckless printing of money by the Federal Reserve, stifles any hope of economic development and raises the cost of living - energy, food, health care - for already struggling Americans. Jimmy Carter knows this all too well. When household income drops and consumers have less disposable income, they purchase less, are more reliant on credit, businesses fail and once again Washington has less money to cover the bills. It’s not rocket science. So how did Barack Obama & his socialist friends solve this paradox and regain the trust of the American people? By spending even more; of your money!
There’s a reason why progressives haven’t passed a law-mandated budget in 6 years…they don’t care! If they were constrained by any sense of duty or fiscal responsibility, like all Americans, how else could they erect their entitlement utopia, punish capitalism, and bankrupt America in the same breathe? The unsustainable cost of Obamacare – one billion for the website alone - over 50 million on food stamps, free housing and welfare given to illegal aliens, billions wasted by increasing the scope of the IRS, EPA and other government agencies, have all contributed to a runaway statism that is designed to accomplish one goal; curtail liberty, foster dependency and bribe the electorate. Sound anything like the Federalist Papers?
So what do you do with a drunk driver that refuses to obey the law and respect your life? You take away the keys, spank their arrogant ass, put them on a unicycle and send them down the mountainside with a pinwheel on their head. If a rogue politician wants to play games and be an unapologetic force of destruction, let them do so with their own life and money. The business of America, is business. We all must endeavor to work, Government must operate within their fiscal means, the Constitution is king, and there are consequences for believing anything contrary to these indelible truths.
