Looks like another slip of the mask trying to hide the EPA's true agenda.

Well isn’t that great the government can command and control the economy so well.

The jerk progressives blow a gasket when Sandra Fluck has to pay $10 a month for her birth control as if it is some Christian banning birth control (you’ve all heard the wailing.)

BUT, The EPA forces coal out of business for “efficiency” costing thousands of dollars extra a year in higher energy cost FOR EVERYONE and it’s just fine.

Progressives are dangerous idiots.

What kind of idiot would declare the most important compound in the cycle of life to be a pollutant?

So IOW it’s about Social Engineering rather than the original purpose of the EPA.

Apparently the EPA has been Democrated in purpose as have so many other aspects of our gov.

It’s about investments in people’s ability to lower their electricity bills by getting good, clean, efficient appliances, homes, rental units.”

So it’s about redistribution, what a surprise.

A knowledgeable FReeper provided the following link to information on how to comment to EPA on this matter.

If you live near:

you’re close to where Public Hearings will be held on the proposed rule THIS WEEK. More information on the comment process and the public hearings are at the linked site.

“about increased efficiency at our plants”

And more CO2 means “increased efficiency at our plant” life. Greater yields, faster-growing, etc., etc..

What better reason than to abolish this agency?

NO MONEY for the a####les in 2015. Or we’ll find actual conservative Republicans who will turn off the money spigot in 2017.

unintended consequences of government regulations

Have you even wondered why a ac unit evaporator coil won’t last 20 years like they used to. When the gouv. required 13 seer efficiency on AC units the manufacturers had to make the copper thinner. Now they don’t last 6 years and spew thousands of tons of refrigerants to the air costing consumers thousands for a replacement that still won’t last 6 years.

Now that EPA have admitted that they have gone way beyond keeping our air and water clean, can we shut it down now?
Or at least scale back the mission to the original intent.

“And the great thing about this proposal is it really is an investment opportunity. This is not about pollution control. It’s about increased efficiency at our plants…It’s about investments in renewables and clean energy. It’s about investments in people’s ability to lower their electricity bills by getting good, clean, efficient appliances, homes, rental units.”

Making electricity even more expensive will force people to buy more energy efficient devices. It is not the governments job to force people to buy things they would not need if the government did not make prices rise artificially.

>> “ This is not about pollution control.”

A statement of deemphasis — not an admission about some concealed awareness CO2 isn’t a pollutant.

These tyrants believe their BS. Simply being conniving a-holes would be an improvement.
